well I'm 99% certian Toyota doesnt build trucks to fuck up on its customers
even in America where everthing is a conspiracy
but I'm pretty sure a 40hr frame job is good money for the dealer
Toyota also made good for head gaskettes on my 3L V6 on a 7 year old truck back in the 90's
My body shop guy uses linseed oil cut with turpentine. It sticks and protects just as well as fluid film but does not cake on and build up as much. Sounds like some inspection shops up here where FF is used heavily (Maine) won’t inspect cars with it. Cakes onto components (fuel/brake lines, etc) too much and you cannot even see what is underneath).
I looked in to linseed. It can self combust.
