Works really well, easy to operate. I got one when I moved into my house in December and the heat wasn’t functional due to a bad winterizing job. Only a few days, but it was single digits and teens for most of that stretch. Did a good job and I didn’t even die. I keep it around for a backup....
My dad heats his camp (~1,600 sqft) with one that is permanently plumbed/mounted. Puts out a nice heat and is pretty efficient.

Hey, OP. I kinda did this for a while in my very cold unheated garage, and said fuck it, and put the bench in the warm basement.
That sounds like a good idea initially, but then the house starts to smell like hot wax. While that may be pleasing (in a horse/cow dung sort of way), my wife would not be please. For me, it would be easier. My infrared sauna could double as a hot box. Also, even with a tarp, wax cakes onto floor.
I made a make shift tuning bench that I lay across the washer and dryer. Wife is fine with that. I can watch the game on TV while tuning my skis, etc..Quote:
