Me, I'm an early riser. Out the door by 7ish and quit btwn 2:30-3.
Then add in the potential Beartooth shredfest days...winter doesn't end for a long time.
27 so far, realistic target is 50 by june. Should be making up some missed days with mountain collective trips & spring break coming up. Very aspirational target(great corn touring season in western montana) is 60.

The utility of Cauchy sequences lies in the fact that in a complete metric space (one where all such sequences are known to converge to a limit), the criterion for convergence depends only on the terms of the sequence itself, as opposed to the definition of convergence, which uses the limit value as well as the terms. This is often exploited in algorithms, both theoretical and applied, where an iterative process can be shown relatively easily to produce a Cauchy sequence, consisting of the iterates, thus fulfilling a logical condition, such as termination.
The notions above are not as unfamiliar as they might at first appear. The customary acceptance of the fact that any real number x has a decimal expansion is an implicit acknowledgment that a particular Cauchy sequence of rational numbers (whose terms are the successive truncations of the decimal expansion of x) has the real limit x. In some cases it may be difficult to describe x independently of such a limiting process involving rational numbers.
Generalizations of Cauchy sequences in more abstract uniform spaces exist in the form of Cauchy filters and Cauchy nets.

With only one exception I always get somewhere between a good amount and not enough
74 today. Still 50/50 hill touring give or take a day. Hopefully that’s just over half the season. C how may/June goes
I usually ask the other guy first and then I add 3 to however many days he has
but seriously the only year I actualy counted was when I quit booze and dope to train (106) otherwise I'm never lucid enough to keep track

Fair question. I like tangible goals (50 ski days minimum) and the added motivation they give me. Because I work and have a family, it actually takes a bit of determined effort for me to achieve that 50-day goal. Counting gives me a reason to go when conditions are shit and I might be feeling lazy.Quote:

I started counting at the beginning of the season because it is my first full season, but I already lost count. The only thing that really matters is finding the time to hit the snow next. Don't count but a quick mental calculation would put me at roughly 80 given the days open, days missed(few) and touring days. Still lift served days coming up and months of spring touring.
This has been a terrible snow year here in Colorado (47% of average).
Worst season for me... ever! I'll end up with around 50 days when it's over. My average is 70-90. :mad:
