after the damn near 100 degree weather today in SLC, this most prized thread deserves a lil bumpity, bump ... that year in GBNP was epic and I was truly honored to introduce TH and re-introduce Mr. McLean to it ... enjoy the read or re-read folks :)

Made a trip in Jan lack of snow shut down an attempt to really get the goods,

Gotta give this little ditty a bump on its anniversary date. Was just watching the vid Hackhead put together of this for the first time in a couple of years the other night. Hard to believe it has been 3 years since this went down. Talked with HH soon after that and we both were lamenting just how much fun that trip and month were down at GBNP. Every pic I have seen of the place since then is somewhat saddening as the place hasn't seen spring snow like 04-05' since then; also makes me smile to with a deep feeling of gratification because we got that place so f'ing good that whole month. :fm:

I think I still got the version of the vid HH put together and posted online somewhere; if I can find it and figure out how to put it up on youtube or vimeo, maybe I'll put it up.

Long live Summer Solstice ski days. Get out there and git sum today!!!!
