Fuck the haters. Caroline has clearly taken this all serious.

So what if she was a ski model, half of the assholes who give her shit would take those same opportunities in a heartbeat and not done nearly as well for herself as she did.

Anyone who can tick off all of these lines isn't a joke

She is badass. The fact that she looks good as well, isn't something to hold against her. I mean, if she was _just_ looking good and posing with equipment she didn't know how to use, I could understand it would make some people jealous. But the reality is, she is killing it. And I am willing to bet she ski/climb better than 99% of the haters. Including the guys.

I watched the vid. I agree with your take. I imagine it's hard to put yourself above the drama, but lots of famous people deal with it. Caroline is not alone in that experience. She IS the first woman to complete the chuting gallery which is definitely badass. I think it would have been more powerful to make the video about crushing her goal while crushing the opposition, and in general ignore the stalker bullshit.

I also think it depends on the audience. My wife isn't big on the classic big lines ski porn, but the harassment overlay certainly drew her into the story more.

yeah I was gonna say... while I personally would’ve liked to see more lines (any footage of Medusa Face???), I’m not sure the average person who follows REI on social media necessarily cares that much.

Have had several female students over the years who were stalked. Scary shit. Especially if it escalates into closer and closer contact. It's sort of like a guy who starts out killing small animals and graduates to larger, then human.

I’m glad she tracked down the stalker. That’s scary shit. What kind of douche bag gets so obsessed about a young woman doing this, that they are driven so far as to track down her phone number and leave a message like that? I mean wtf? What set this dude off? Is there a personal connection?

Nice video and all, I’ll never ski as well as she does...but why does this one random psychopath have it out for this particular, seemingly nice young woman?
It bothers me. Perhaps more so because I have a daughter...even then..
