Guy from Tahoe I know is going out to DV for the race. He is also in the 30-34 expert category. Chris Drake on a gray v10. Never ridden with him but sounds like he is a great rider.
Once I hit 40 (6 months away), I will be half-dead (according to hardrider), THEN maybe i will try some beginner category race. ;)
Cool! Let's try to have a real good Maggot showing (I normally come in DFL - Dead Fucking Last) but maybe all you fast guys will be in the younger group. I know a lot of the fast guys from the Utah series are a bit older so I won't win but I would sure be happy with a top 5.Quote:

Yeah, I hope Ben Craner is 35+, I'm not sure how old Alvey is, I'd be stoked with a top ten to get into Mammoth.

Ski Monkey and I are going to try to preride the XC course tomorrow - I've heard that it'll be open for that for a couple hours, 8 - 2 or something. Can't find the info on the web though, sigh. Pretty sure I'm racing, but probably beginner class. :eek: Exciting!!!!!

You should ride beginner class DH or Super D. It's just variations on Devo. You'd kill it! (either one) And you wouldn't need a DH bike for that course - I've ridden it on my XC bike plenty of times.Quote:
