'scuse me ? Come again ?
HARD to hear ya with such a low post count.
Calling a carveboard GHEY sounds like you're in the 5th grade.
Have you ever ridden one ?
a Tierney board ?a Flow board ?
This old man can still cheeeese his way thru the slalom cones.
I ride a 60" pintail longboard with the widest Indys you can get and some nice soft Fibreflex wheels.
and I can still fakie pump my way up to vert in a halfpipe.
Last time I tried dropping in on vert I got speed wobbles on the bottom and almost slammed the ramp really hard.
But I had the balls to commit to dropping in.;)
Big fat kneepads just sliiiiide.
why do old people talk so much?
why is it there's always one guy that yearns to piss in the pool ?

...Yossarian, did you ever get that longboard?
Y'all prolly know already, being into sac n'all, but you sometimes see cheap longboards (and sk8boards) on WhiskeyMilitia. Mostly with iffy trucks/wheels, but everyone reckons, at $30-$60 for a complete, just buy it and ride it 'til it dies.

I'm down with the ghey summer rides theme, myself. Although I haven't taken it out yet this summer, I carve around on a Trikke
If you are looking for a sweet summer diversion.
NOTHING beats a T-board. Sooo smooth, so stable. Its way easier than it looks to ride, it sucks on flats, but rules on any sort of hill.
edit - here is a better vid than the last but shittier music
Yeah this is a super nice way to carve, If you like turney carving above all else. More carvey than a Carve Board and much more stable than almost most any other board setup I've tried. Much tighter turn radius than a standard T setup, and It doesn't slide out the same way. Actually, it's got a rather nice drift to it, natural and smooth feeling, like riding on liquid. Liquid, man, that's a perfect description of carving on this board, Little bit of a side slip, but with a controllable springy-ness to it, like being on a nice calm wave ride. Perfect for those who want the most carvey feeling out there with no exceptions made for slipout and wobble, because this thing doesn't wobble; not one bit. and you can really bend over all the way and plant your weight into the carve, without worrying about it sliding out. It will drift, but it's a controllable, smooth, predictable drift, very natural and fluid feeling. If you miss surfing, this would be my recomendation to you. way better than a carve board.
got one in the werks
I world recommend carve boards. Big wheels=good senior jones knows or is paid to.
also flip flops/sandles are just fine as long as you commit
