I have seen a similar occurrence as well , but it was opaque very light/sheer white , except what I saw was going from the ocean to sky .

I once saw a massive triangular star craft , could have been a been a huge(hudge) air-frame or super high tech high altitude observation/data gathering platform ???? UFO for sure ...

It was 3-4 am on the coast , no other lights for miles .

A huge light in the sky that appeared long enough for me to say WTF before it faded out.

I still can't explain that. Even weirder that my dad saw it four nights in a row. I saw it the fourth night with him. He pointed in my face: See! Now you've seen it! WTF was that?

Just imagine a flashlight turning on and aiming into your eyes, then off. Felt like living in The Truman Show.

No worries, I can see what you were concerned about. Around here the Pig is the only grocery store on the island that can consistently be out of absolutely everything most weekends; like pre-end-of-days empty. So yeah, in the spirit of the thread; the Pig is weird.
