Sorry for your loss, iceman.
Poor Ginger. She was just trying to keep you from stealing her soul.
Jack knows when we're getting close to home after a long trip in the car but I'm sure it's all about the rythm of the stops, starts, acceleration & etc. on the road to my house. He'll be crashed out in the back seat but as soon as I turn to go up the hill he perks right up and gets antsy.
Well my dog eats frozen rabbit shit but knows how to put the window down in the car.
Mine does that too! crazy. and phone rings that sound nothing like ours. but watch tv and someone knocks on the door on tv, no response. weird... vibes, Ice... that picture of Ginger is awesome! Our pup is also not that thrilled about the camera. he could be dead asleep and as soon as you touch the power button, he's looking at me all wary..
we've been slowly training him to not get too excited when he hears dogs on the tv or stereo- i always say "hey buddy- it's on the tv" and i think he understands that concept now. not always, but that phrase seems to help him settle down- surround sound can be a bitch when you can't explain to the dog why that noise is coming from over there..
my fatherinlaw's dog happily and intently watched an entire episode of Lassie the other day- wish i could have seen that. i guess she just sat right in front of the tube the whole time, occasionally checking to make sure he wasn't behind the tv, then coming back to sit right in front again. ours will watch tv if there are horses running around, and sometimes if there are dogs.
