Wait, you dug a pit after you had already skied the steep face? So you could know it was stable after you had already risked your life on it?
Yeah that was way way stupid, fortuneately we didn't have to learn the hard way, way way way stupid, I feel like such a gaperQuote:

Hopefully that will help you to remember the next time, rather than let your excitement to ski get the better of you.
Otherwise some good pics. As usual, try to sort out the spelling, and also the grammar. Whilst it doesn't need to be perfect everytime, it's nice to be able to read the TR just once, not several times to clarify it!
Also, try playing with the white balance a bit on your camera, and also try to get a bit more perspective in some of the shots. There are a few in there that could be better, if they weren't all front on, with little depth. This loses the impact you get when seeing first hand.
But keep taking them, mistakes are the way of learning how do stuff, although preferably others mistakes and not your own. (Esp. the pit digging part! )
Great job, man. That looks like it was a great day spent outside of the book-learnin' classroom.
Are you shooting film or Digi? If you're shooting film and the prints look sharp, check your scanner settings. Are you using a flatbed scanner or a negative scanner? Try scanning the prints instead of the negs, if possible. I've yet to find a sub-$1000 neg scanner that doesn't turn out a muddy looking product. Also, try setting your resolution LOWER (I know, counter-intuitive) for better results in the Interweb world. It's better to scan the pics in low res rather than converting them to "Internet ready" files later in PS.
On a seperate note:
I'm seriously hoping that you AKPM bashers are getting tired of bullying this kid electronically. It's no longer funny, just pathetic. Grow the fuck up.
Missed this the first time around.
I always enjoy AKPM's stuff, sure he could be a bit more selective at times but every TR doesn't need to be a masterpiece.
One word of advice though, when posting a TR that solely consists of two guys, never, ever, include the phrase "Me on Top". That could just lead to some real confusion.
Some really nice sunrise pics. You're definitely improving as a photog. And yeah, you need a new or cleaner scanner. Or possibly your lens is dirty?
