Ok, PNW people, listen up...
Here's the deal; YOU HAVE THE PERFECT ITINERARY SET UP NOW, DON'T CHANGE A THING; we have a significant storm coming in from the SW for Tuesday night and Wednesday - this is NOT the one you want to chase. It's going to be relatively wet snow, and we're going to be in for another round of that ugly, crappy strong SW wind that really screwed things up last time.
There is another storm on Thursday, that one will be slightly colder....
The storm you want will be here on Friday, with snow continuing on Saturday and Sunday. By then we will have cold air, light winds, and things should be looking great.
I would expect some delayed canyon openings, and touring might be out of the question for a few days, so AltaBirds a great bet...see ya'll this weekend.
We tired that one already. Full strength beer brought nothing but high pressure and broken thumbs. I think Ullr isn't much of a beer drinker. :confused: :biggrin:Quote:

I think I'll be up on Thursday and Friday, but weekends in LCC are a bit tough for me, since I work at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday; if the canyon closes and I can't get to work, I've got a big problem on my hands... :nonono2:
