I have two shots taken from the phone camera. Will try to upload later today. Not great quality, but if you know the spots, you will see the size.

Jeebus, talk about a death paddle. Not being familiar with the area, I can't gauge size...10'+?
But a beautiful shot, hop. wave in the foreground with brown foam looks cool, and I like the spray going off the top of the one in the background.
The shorepound in that case was easily head-high. There were "sets" coming through that had to be in the 20' plus range.
Here's another beach from that day. Hugh Conway would probably not approve of the lineup here as it's full of telephone poles.
I had to describe the surf this weekend in two words they would be "disorganized" and "big".

I understand why people have a quiver of boards now. Nothing that big and that light was meant to stand up to being pounded on rocks.
It's nice to see it so active
My pickup truck got hit with a wave the other day on ediz spit. I just about shit myself hammering it in reverse. Good times.
looks like a fun body surf spot...
Did no one score in the straight?
I scored ok in the Strait on Saturday. I shared a spot with 15+ other people at a break that should really only hold 5 people (people were stoked and positive but there were lots of collisions). It was definitely overhead and consistent there, but small and windblown at the other 2 spots we checked. After perusing other reports on the blogosphere, I sort of wish I had driven further west for more size.
At a glance, it looks like today and tomorrow could be good. The wind could fuck it up though.
wind is howling in P/A...fyi. big gusts, lots of chop on the strait.
and yes, I did score on the strait, thanks for asking.
