This will be my fifth Presidential election. Wow, time flies. I'm sure there are a few others on this board that can admit to voting for Dukakis.Quote:

There's a protocol you just don't violate - you can admit to cheating, you can admit lying on your taxes. You can admit you're GAY for crying out loud, but don't...EVER...admit to voting for Dukakis. ;)
[Seinfeld] What IS it with Massachusetts? [/sf]
Just a little smahtah than the rest of the country, I guess. I think when Nixon beat McGovern my parents had a 'Don't blame me, I'm from Massachusetts' bumper sticker.
I called the county clerk yesterday to confirm my eligibility.
As for registering at the polls, I believe MN and WI allow it. Utah doesn't I learned in a local election a couple years ago.
You old fuck:p I was in kindergarten in 88Quote:

*whew* I know of at least TWO here that are older than I am. Their names shall remain unspoken to protect the (somewhat) innocent. :p

You gotta love Rock the Vote. I registered at a concert.
I met dukakis in a class last semester. Hell of a nice guy. He took a bus up because he didn't want to waste the University's money. Class act all the way.
FKNA I'm voting, but I don't believe that you can't bitch about the government screwing you if you don't vote. Some people call it voting for the lesser of two evils, some famous guy called it voting for "The Evil of two lessers",& I couldn't agree more. Some people can't stomach the choice of a SH*T sandwich or a FECES hoagie, others aren't given a choice to choose.

you ever read bloom county? "shrimp or wimp" :D
Vote early and vote often.
In Canada you can register (for Federal elections) by checking a box on your income tax form. So convenient. They must really care.
18 years old and registered to vote. I'll be taking the day off so I can for sure go punch my ballot November 2nd.
Mailed my registration yesterday.
I wish I was old enough to vote, New Jersey, which has gone to the democrats since God knows when, is now supposedly all tied up between W. and Kerry. Does that strike anyone else as scary? If you're in NJ and can register, get out and do it, your vote really does count here!
Was he driving a tank?Quote:

???? Is that to sing up or you need to have the card? I’m registered in Colorado, did it in 94 and voted locally last year, has something changed?Quote:

The best bumper sticker from that era was "Nixon 49, America 1"Quote:

Did anybody see the recent review of college education? (It included preparation, affordability, access, a bunch of other factors),
Mass ran away with it.
We ARE smahtah, deal with it.
Fuck that, dude. I voted for Gary Hart in my first election. That woman he banged on the boat was Fiiiinne...Quote:

Ready to go here too!
Plus, we have a close gubernatorial race here. And hopefully we'll send Workman packing so she can pay the Boys and Girls Club out of her own pocket. :)
/gets out the broom for the incumbents
