actually, halliburton got the contracts without bidding. and they are now removing their bids for future contracts (if Yahoo isn't lying to me).
You should vote for Bush because there are lots of poor people in India. If Bush gets re-elected, he will create many jobs in India, and there will be fewer poor people.*
*Those jobs created in India will be the result of American jobs being outsourced to the subcontinent, so while there will be fewer poor people in India, there will be more poor people in America.

While I want da Shrub out as much as the next guy, the outsourcing trend is something that el Presidente has little or no control over.
Outsourcing is here to stay and Kerry can promise to mitigate the loss of jobs, but it is a sad fact India is now the IT LCP(until they become too expensive).
