Smashing Snails, there's no sport in that kind of activity. Now trying to hit a flying bat with a tennis racket, there is true sport. My sis is a teacher (high-school)...and when a student receives a poor grade (in his/her mind)...the teacher and sometimes principal gets a call from the student's parents.

Granted, I graduated in 99 so it's been a couple years. But I went to a Jesuit high school and Jesuit university. Both schools are still well respected. So as far as I know they're still busting heads. I owe a lot to those schools, especially my high school.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I got stung by a bee while driving my Jeep. Honestly, it didn't really hurt. I just pulled over and pulled the stinger out. The first time I ever got stung when I was a kid, I was practically crying and couldn't walk. Fuckin' pussy I was. High school shaped me up right quick.

We called it A-ball. Since we weren't allowed to say Ass in grade school. Plus it harkened to the A-Team which made it extra cool. I've also heard it referred to as Wall Ball.

One of the dumbest things I ever did in college was to drunkenly suggest a game of A-Ball while hanging out with a bunch guys that were all varsity baseball players in High School. The worst was when you'd catch it in one of your kidneys.

I always figured that the teachers would use red ink so that it would show up better against my black or blue ink (or pencil). I remember getting A+'s written in red ink, so what's the big deal.

When everyone has gotten around to fearing Purple, what color will we change it to then? Orange?
