The maggots always break up into several subgroups based on ability and there's always a group of gimpy and injured but still gonna get out and ski maggots that she should be able to hook up with, not to mention this slowass telemarker. Also, Motorola (and others) makes some nice inexpensive communication devices that come in real handy when divergent routes become necessary.

Why dipstik.... you may be on to something!!! However I don't think it would work from a different airport. It would have to be a collective booking. Same flights and all. Tell her about the skiing, terrain and summit priorities. Ask her about her level of skiing, her comfort level and her preference for type of skiing. Don’t sugar coat any of it. Better to be up front then get there and find she's dreaming of a romantic weekend and have it all blow up in your face when she finds out your going to be out rippin' it up with the crew.
I don't date chicks I can't talk to in a frank manner. If it were me, I'd lay out my expectations for the summit. If we weren't at the same skiing level I'd negotiate for some together time and some apart time, laying it all out before we left so there were no surprises for either of us.
Got to be up front or you won't get any back.

That is of course if, as someone already mentioned, your girlie doesn't end up skiing betterer than you. ;)
Kidding aside--Snowdog is very good company for skiing, and he skiied w/ us at the Tahoe summit and didn't seem mind waiting up. BobMc too...and others--all very cool and good mags. Many mags who rip will slow down the pace to show others how to make turns. For that, I am grateful. :)
