Just watch "a perfect storm" and see that huge hook go through the guys hand, sheesh. I prefer doing contract web site work, to getting sliced in half by a cable on a fishin boat.

However you can get good hook-ups in alaska working on the boats or canning. I met a guy who did a fucking disgusting job at a cannery in AK for a summer, he made good money but said he was miserable everyday for 4 months.

Benny, I had that gig. Livin in B-town/Jeff and bartending at Smuggs. I think the best move if you're gonna sling drinks in a ski town is to work the apree/happy hour shift. You'll get home a little earlier and more coug action.

To get to the smokejumper or rap-attack crews you are probably going to have to do at least a year on a hotshot crew, or make a hell of an impression on somebody. And, they dig trenches too.
