I am 12 miles from the center and it was a good shot. It lasted longer than I thought it would. The P waves hit followed by the s waves close behind... closer than normal. A few broken things but no big deal. Looks like it was a blind thrust fault in cow patty land.
I thought dogs/animals could sense earthquakes...all three of my dogs slept right through the thing...sad
That's one of the requirements of living in earhtquake country. Unless buildings are actually toppling you have to act like it was no big deal.Quote:
