It's same probe Idris uses. He gave me the probe when he stayed at my house. [/intentonal slow pitches as "probe" is just too easy]
Aluminum Tent poles on the elastic line.

I also might be able to locate an extra probe for Sun and am definately down to ski The Pass.Quote:

Oh, yeah, and I just realized that I left my probe in Tahoe (got beacon and shovel though). Anyone have an extra I could borrow if a bc day materializes?
Hey foggy, still got those cuopons? If we get good snow, I'd love to ride some lifts.
Hey Dave!!! Can we combine everyone to get together on Sunday? I've skied with Nate - he's alright by me. :DQuote:

I haven't put on a patrol jacket in about two months. With the possibility of powder at Loveland, I might need to show up there on Saturday. I'll have a two hour patrol room duty but free to ski the rest of the day.
Anyway, Nate and Dave, please keep me in the loop. I'm trying to see what billow's up to as well.
edit - oh yeah, I just found some Loveland comps. Could be pried from my grubby fingers.
I'll take you up on that.Quote:

I'm gonna be in Philly, also taking one for the team. Maybe, I can get in a couple hours before my flight tomorrow though.Quote:

I've got some comps (very kindly given to me by SheRa during the summit), and Uber has volunteered to send some more along with me as well.Quote:

Lets get something together for Sunday bc. If I'm in CO with powder available, I'd rather ski it while I can.
Just bring all your equipment on the bus, we'll figure it out later.
if we run out of comps I have a coupon for a 10.00 ticket
I've got one of those too. Planning to be there Sun.Quote:

Edit: Might be there Sat. also if we really get lotsa snow.
Edit2: MD9... You might need to get yourself medicated up. :)
I'd really like to go. I've got to pick up bark @ 8am and I feel like crap again after last night's trip to the dentist. A half hour appointment ended up taking 2 plus hours. Gums are black and blue yet again.
We'll see. The Mrs is working so I could. I just need to get my truck filled with bark before I could leave.
your truck takes bark instead of gas?Quote:

sort of off topic, but not really, I'm fairly sure I'll be heading up to A-Basin tomorrow (thursday) morning to catch the beginning/middle of this storm. It'd be cool to ski with someone if anyone's heading up there.
Stoke on for late season dumps, never anyone around to ski them.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday :)
Steamboat area getting the goods early:
taken from CAIC:
"Steamboat area has done well last 24 hours, Tower snotel estimates 16-17” new..."
Have I said yet how stoked I am to get another pow day? Corn is great and all, but CO pow is nothing to be sneered at.
also from CAIC
The real issue is going to be east of the front ranges from the Sangres northward to RMNP. Monarch area, Mosquitos, Indian Peaks & possibly the Sawatch Range could see significant snowfall by Friday night. 30” may not be out of line.
Damn, late season pounding. We'll be getting pounded (drinking) at my house on Saturday, but that is Northwest of Denver, close enough.
Hey, 'Nater:
If hev's or MD'9s probes don't work out for whatever reason, I've got one you can use. PM me if you want to borrow it.
Mine won't be, uh, seeing any action this weekend, as I'll be off at the racetrack all weekend trying to impersonate Stirling Moss.
I'll be skiing on Thursday all day and *maybe* Friday morning before I go to DC.Quote:

Funken: feel yo pain
I'll be at the Basin on either Saturday or Sunday, right now it's looking like Sunday. Red down Orage jacket, black pants, LBF's with Freerides if it's (moderately) deep.
here's my picture if I do show. I'll be on my Fischer 74 Alltrax (yellowish, year before the bigstix) and I'll have my grayish Millet backpack.
check pm please...sorry it's the last oneQuote:

Blue helmet
Blue coat
Black pants
Red boots
either V-Pros (blue with a lady on the back) /w looks
or Gotamas (black) with Naxos
ALWAYS BE ASKIN FOR CHANGE FOR A NICKEL!
Looks like I got back just in time.....
I'm currentlly chilling in Colorado Springs, sans wheels. So if anyone is swinging through on their way to the mountains, or maybe wants to hit up pikes for a quick trip (it should be getting pounded as well) I'd be a much happier person. I've got all the avy gear and certs and fun stuff.
just another helpless plee from an immobile maggot....
