I bet you think every car crash results in an explosion too. You know what happens when a 60 mph strap is wrapped around an axle, drive or otherwise? Wheel stops turning, car skids until it stops like it locked up the brakes.

See, I would expect it to jerk violently to one side if one wheel is suddenly locked up. And at a high rate of speed in something like a PU or SUV then cause it to roll over.
