Dynafit definitely make all sorts of inexplicable (to me at least) design choices, but some of us do appreciate that they produce boots which fit the lower volume, low instep end of the foot shape spectrum (even the 3F Comp fit my foot perfectly back before they pivoted into being a backcountry brand). It may limit sales in the North American market (and presumably helps them in Italy) but until we get 3D printed boot shells (please) the fact that not every company is targeting the average NA foot shape isn’t a bad thing.
