I just posted in the Moment thread, but after spending two days on the 2025 Nordica Enforcer 99 at Stevens Pass—first in heavy, wet snow, and then in drier, deep powder—I have to say, its making me rethink my loyalty to Moment skis. The updated design really impressed me, and I’m officially sold on this ski.
In my opinion, the revisions keep the signature damp, charging nature of the Enforcer but give it a more freeride-oriented vibe with the forward mount and subtle tail rocker. As someone whos a strong, athletic skier (I’ve been lifting weights my whole life and have dabbled in various sports), I want to caveat that this is just my personal experience, but I felt confident everywhere—whether I was straightlining chutes, navigating steep trees, handling bumps and chop, or floating through deep powder. Even landing off bigger drops felt incredible, and I found myself getting more air off even the smallest side hits.
While most people might not buy the E99 for its playfulness, I genuinely think its a serious contender for the best do-it-all AM/freeride ski for the right person.
TL;DR: The 2025 Enforcer 99 strikes a perfect balance between being a charger and a playful ski, thanks to its updated design.
...Now someone convince me I need the new E89.

I have to admit, I feel the same. The 23/24 E94 crushes. I do not love it when snow is more than 6 inches deep, but on firm days it sends. I want to ski the new shape.

I had a chance last week to test my 179 E94s against 177 M6 Mantra 96s and 182 Stance 90s in melt freeze conditions (the west had basically no snow in the prior 4 weeks).
M6: longer effective edge and stiffer tips and tails than E94, but suspension didn’t feel as progressive or composed. Felt more groomer oriented than the E94 with the longer edge and stiffer tips and tails. More ripping on consistent groomed than E94 but less good on inconsistent snow and off piste garbage.
Stance 90: the tips look similarly rockered but looks like more gradual rocker and more gradual taper to sidecut transition, flatter tail, much stiffer overall than the 179 E94 and too much ski for me. I liked the composure despite it being a lighter ski than E94 and M6, and I would be open to A/B testing a 176 Stance against the 179 E94.

My recollection of the E88 was that reviewers found it had less oomph and backbone than the E93/E94. I wonder if the current E89 changed that as I was looking to optimize this quiver slot for truly awful snow, both on and off piste. E94 is working well for me there but I’m still E89 curious.

And I still think a +0.5cm mount would be a bit more fun off piste.

Been skiing my older style 186 E94 a bunch this season on the EC.&nbsp; It&#39;s a great low tide ski for the west and also can ski crappy EC manmade and hardpack well.&nbsp; In skiied trees (soft snow with bumps and mixed untracked few inches of fresh ) it&#39;s great although not the quickest ski out there.&nbsp; &nbsp;As tight trees get deeper / fresher I would personally like a slightly looser tail, but I&#39;m a hack so need all the help I can get it tight spaces.&nbsp; &nbsp;Skis bumps very well for heavy ski with metal&nbsp;</p>

Carving is more than adequate edge hold wise but the ski is very damp and a bit lifeless as far a pop out of a turn.&nbsp; &nbsp;Doesn&#39;t bother me ,but it&#39;s not a lively ski, and then dampness is great in skiied out or crappier snow.</p>

I&#39;m curious how the new design witn a bit looser tail would work.&nbsp; Probably better in tight spaces but I gotta assume you give up a bit of hardpack and ice performance.&nbsp;</p>

Overall a great all arounder for EC / shit condition low tide WC ski.&nbsp; Mine have Warden demos so the whole setup is heavy as fuck .</p>

I too have been wanting a slightly looser tail as I have a tendency to go off piste when no one else is doing it because it’s so bad. I like having a heavy metal ski to crush refrozen chicken heads and crap, but I want a looser tail to quickly swivel on top of all that junk and be more playful on the groomer side hits etc. That said, the Enforcer 94 has a taller tail / more tail rise than all of the main metal laminate all mountain competitors - Mantra, Brahma, Stance, I assume Anomaly though I have not confirmed that. But I want more.
I would love a ski with Enforcer construction and hybrid Rustler/Enforcer geometry in 88-90 underfoot as my ultimate low tide exploration and play ski. “Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women!”

^^Head added metal to the Kore line up for next season and there’s a Kore eighty eight ti. When I saw my buddy the Head rep on them I remarked that they looked like Enforcers.

And no complaints about the Enforcer 94 either, more just looking for my optimal slightly more playful but still crushy low tide ski.

My buddy said that they’re like a hybrid of the Monster series and the Kore series but they updated the Kore tail with some taper and splay. Looked like around twenty cms of tail rocker.

I&#39;d love to A/B compare the Enforcer 89 to 94. I also tend to still go off-pisted when conditions are shitty and want a ski that can deal with shit conditions everywhere.

Review of the new Enforcer 104 from Blister Review. Agree with all their findings but definitely think there&#39;s an even larger difference between them and the old 104 Free. The new 104 is a lot stiffer, a bit heavier, more damp and has increased power. Playful still but not as easy going as the old one. The stability and willingness to go straight along with the strength on edge are the biggest changes I found.

After reading more about the 2025 E104, I do wonder why they didn’t go with 108-112 waist instead (or in addition to the 99 and 104). I’ve been on the E104 Free in the past and currently the E99, and I've taken the E99 out at Stevens Pass in a variety of conditions—everything from light powder (a few feet), to heavy/wet snow, chop, and hard pack. I’m consistently impressed with how well the E99 handles all of them. The added tail rocker and more forward mount provide everything I want from the E104 Free, while still maintaining that stiff, damp ride. Dropping cliffs, steep narrow chutes, straight-lining through chop, even bouncing around in the trees. If you are a stronger, aggressive skier, this ski allows you to do a lot with it. Last season and at the start of this one, my daily driver was the Moment DW 104, and I also spent a lot of time on the Praxis MVP 108 and Moment DW 112. I loved all of those skis, but if I had to grab just one ski without considering conditions, it would definitely be the E99. The extra 5 cm of the E104, though a bit burlier from what reviews have said, doesn’t seem significant enough to differentiate the skis really. I'd rather take the narrower E99 and gain some quickness and grip on icy, hard pack conditions. I’m hoping to try the E104 to compare, but I do wish they would have skipped the 104 or added another ski in the 108-112 range, positioning it closer to skis like the Moment Countach 110 or the Volkl Revolt 114.

The whole new Enforcer line has been tweaked so you just choose your snow type/width and you will get a very similar experience throughout the whole line. The Enforcer 104(and especially the old 110) were outliers of the group with their twin tails and softer flex patterns(esp 110) vs the narrower skis. And the latest 100 didn&#39;t have much more tail rocker vs the 94 which you&#39;d think if would as it&#39;s a bit more off trail/softer snow biased. Now they all are very similar in flex pattern and just get a bit more tail rocker as they get wider.
The 94 didn&#39;t change much but the 89 got a bit more harder snow focused and the 99 got easier off trail and lighter on its feet. The 104 now has the carving power of the narrower skis but is still fun in soft snow. The biggest change is definitely in the 104 which became much more serious a ski vs the old 104 Free. Think most who liked the old series would like the new but could see the odd 104 Free skier not loving the new 104. I&#39;d always demo the same length but would consider trying a step down in length on the new 104 too. Should have similar stability but would be more playful in the shorter length. I&#39;d consider the new 104 an option for an easier off trail Mantra 102 now which I would have never compared the 104 Free with.
Unleashed 108 a lighter, very precise option and think Nordica is assuming that some 104 and 110 Free customers will just move to the Unleashed line instead.
If I wanted an Enforcer type ski in the 110-112mm range, I&#39;d recommend checking out the Sender Free 110/Mfree 112 skis. Incredible versatility like the Enforcer line and easy off trail like the Enforcer Free line.

The new Enforcer one-o-four is a masterpiece. Wow.

Think the 104 changed the most with its flex change and its also the only one that seems to have increased the turning radius in the 179cm and 185cm models vs the old ones and the rest of the line. Definitely find them more stable at speed now vs the 104 Free/the old Enforcers.

Bought some 185s from Euroland. Finally mounted them up with P15s and skied them yesterday in mid-winter/continental/dry snow conditions. Agree with all the things you have shared previously about both the Enforcer 99 and Enforcer 104. I&#39;ve been skiing my E99s as my go to this year and after hearing the 104 was more stable and a bit more serious, my interest was piqued. I really enjoy the increased stability and mix of playful charger the 104 exhibits, yet it is still so easy to figure out. I agree with your assessment that there are some similarities to the M102, but in a more fun and friendly format. I also feel that the new 104 is a bit less locked in than the original, but the new ones also feel easiser to smear/break loose in the tail. I&#39;m very appreciative of your review of the new 104, as it had a direct effect on my decision to try one myself. I suspect that I&#39;m going to be on them a lot the rest of the season.

That’s all interesting feedback. I liked the 179 104 Free … at 140 lbs it seems like if I were to grab a current gen model I might be better served on the 173? (All hypotheticals anyways, I’m not looking for mid 100 skis right now)

Have you ever been on any of the other Enforcers in a 179cm length? If so, then you&#39;d have a similar experience on the new 104 with a bit looser tail than the narrower ones. If you were happy on the 179 104 Free I&#39;d probably say try the 179cm Enforcer 104 and see if you like it and if not try the 173cm. Think most people would prefer the added float and stability of staying with the 179cm unless you ski nothing but super tight trees and moguls maybe.

Really Like the new 104 too and I definitely feel the &quot;precise, stable feel but able to break loose easily&quot; with them too. Find they are much more willing to go fast but still easy to turn at lower speeds. Find they have a multi radius sidecut feel but don&#39;t see it mentioned anywhere in their descriptions.

I’m on 179 E94s from 23-24. Length feels fine but I wouldn’t want the tips or tails any stiffer as I think the progressive flex is what leads to such a smooth suspension for me

Then you&#39;ll be perfect on the 179cm 104 then. Flex is very similar now in the new 104(was softer before in the 104 free) to your 94 but with more tail rocker and a bit more forward mount so it will be easier to pivot still. Find the 25 Enforcers with the rubber underfoot and less carbon feel more damp with improved suspension. The 104 has the best suspension and stability of the lineup now.

Hypothetical for all you Enforcer lovers:

My behemoth of a brother (6'3"/250, former mag from the K2 forum days) needs to update his DD from a gold buddha Gotama and carbon cochise. He's not monster trucking the hill anymore, but homeboy can bend a fucking ski. I skied the original E104 and liked it well enough, but found it to be too soft and turny for aggressive monkeyfucking, and my brother is likely to agree since we enjoy the same skis. Is the updated E104 enough of a bump up in build/flex that his gigantic ass won't just fold it in half? I watched him snap a new pocket rocket in front of the toe on a groomer back in the day, just carving on hardpack. He's not looking for playful/maneuverable, he's big enough to throw anything around and not old enough for it to be a pain in the ass for him.

Also wondering if the 191 is as much of a dog as the 193/191 E100; that ski did not scale well to the largest size, it just felt like a dead fish and had far too much sidecut for a ski that long. The 186 was significantly better even if it did like to turn too much for my taste. Not dogging on enforcers in general, just the 193 wasn't as much fun as the 186 and didn't really give you anything more at the top end to justify the length.

Thoughts?

Moment Commander 102 in a 188 comes to mind. I bet he would shred on it.

Sounds like you were pretty close to liking the 186 104 Free if it was more willing to go straight and was stiffer? Than the 185cm 104 will for sure accomplish that. About as stiff and stable as the old 191cm 104 Free in shorter length. The new 191cm 104 goes stiffer still, 2450gr but similar turn radius to the old one or the new 185cm though.
I&#39;ve been impressed with the improvements in the 185cm 104 and felt the same way as you about the 186 104 Free.

Bandit Man- is the new E 104 more of a handful in tight spots than the 104 Free?

It is also interesting to hear that it is more loose in the tail given the shape.

Also- what length did you have the most time on with the 104 Free- did you downsize to the new 104?

Looking for a ski to compliment my E99. Loving the E99 for the most part at Stevens Pass considering we really haven't been getting snow, but looking at the Unleashed 108 or E110 Free (local shop has a 185). Anyone have experience on both? Would like to mount more forward at -6 or -5 for ease of spins, landing and riding switch, etc. Is the E110 Free significantly more stable while still being playful or are they pretty similar? Go with the cheaper one? Going up to Whistler in March and will probably take it up there for more big mountain play.Previous skis lately have been the Praxis MVP 108, DW 112, and Bent 110 in this width range. MVP 108 and DW 112 were phenomenal skis, but like to try different brands and different skis.

I owned both the 186 and 191 E104 Free. Skied both quite a bit. Sold the 186 to a buddy as it just felt like it was lacking in stability and dampness. Still have the 191 E104 Free. I really like the added weight and slightly larger turn radius on the 191 E 104 Free, but don&#39;t feel like I need the extra length. I feel like the new 185 E104 skis closer to the feel of the original 191 E104 Free, but is somehow a quieter, smoother ride. I did size down with the new model and am really happy with that choice. The new 185 E104 is very manageable in tight spaces and perhaps a bit moreso than its predecessor since it skis looser in the tail.
Two of my favorite skis are the Volkl M102 and Dynastar MFree 108. The Volkl feels like it has no speed limit and feels great in firm and variable snow. It&#39;s not great in anything too soft or too deep. The MFree is amazing in soft, deep conditions, where it&#39;s loose and smeary nature makes for a capable but surprisingly manueverable tool. It can be pushed pretty hard on firmer snow, but isn&#39;t super comfortable there. I really want a ski that sits right in-between those too for my daily driver and I think the new E104 is the closest thing to satisfy that ask. Capable in firm and variable conditions with a high speed limit/high stability but still loose enough to take off-trail and enjoy the powder, soft chop, and sloppy seconds the day after a storm. I didn&#39;t expect this to the that ski, but am really pleased with them so far.

Not letting me quote but for PMMNazWIcoWA I&#39;d definitely be skipping either Nordica and go for a 184cm/183cm Sender Free 110/MFree 112 instead. Similar stiffness to the Unleashed 108(stiffer than 110 Enforcer Free) but more stable and damp than either. Will also play better with a more forward mount point like you&#39;re wanting. Very playful yet still great carvers and versatile like Enforcers.

Appreciate the response as always! Hard to really understand how much play you have with MP on various skis. Jeff from skiessentials, who raves about the U98 and U108, I believe has his personal U98 mounted +3 or or something like that. I am sure I could get away with going +2 on either, but agree SF110 or MFree 112 will probably be better for a more progressive mount. Been wanting to try the SF110 for a while anyways, but with the other skis in the similar width range I never snagged a pair.

I decided to make a new rule for myself, and that’s that every single new (or new to me pair of skis that isn’t already mounted at my BSL) is getting either demo Strives or Wardens first for me to dial in mount point to my preference and optimum. Once sales start hitting I’ll probably start hoarding both lol.

I also don’t live somewhere where demos are easy to come by, we have literally one event a year and outside of that, catch and release is the most practical way to demo.

Thanks very much Bandit Man. Seems like I would like the 185 104 as a replacement to my 191 E 104 frees if the time ever comes.

My dad (about to turn 70 and he skis probably 80 days per year) is on the 185 E 104 free and he loves them. They are forgiving in that he can release a turn really easy so long as his tails are detuned and he doesn’t have to drive them very much to get them to turn.

Do you think the new E 104 has to be driven more than the E 104 free given the additional stiffness?

What are your thoughts on mount point on the E 104? I went +2 on the 191 E 104 Free to be more inline with the Moment Deathwish and Wildcats that I ski all the time and I’m very happy there since I feel I can pivot more easily. I haven’t had issues with float since the first day I skied them in pow- not sure what that was about, but they are doing great up to 5 or 6 inches of pow for me now.

I would not describe the new 104 as needing to be driven harder due to the stiffer flex, but rather that you need to be a bit more attentive to the ski. The original 104 was quite the automatic carver, with a very easy to find sweet spot. The new 104 takes a little more to find the sweet spot, but is easy to manage once you figure it out. In tight or more technical terrain, I found the new 104 actually easier as it skis looser overall and isn&#39;t as eager to get on edge and carve. I really like that aspect of the new one. I read that the mount point of the new 104 is moved forward a bit and I have to admit, I prefer it to the old one and more rearward mount point. The new one feels like it floats in 6-inches or more of powder just as well (if not better) than the old version, despite the more forward mount.

Having been on the E99 and E104 do you feel there is still a place for your E99? A lot of the feedback I am seeing below is making me think I&#39;d be love the E104 for a DD to handle most conditions (i.e. at Stevens Pass and traveling wherever). The thing that really has me interested in going E104 is it Blisters comparision of the E104 to the E99 suggesting the E104 &quot;is easier to pivot from a variety of stances and its tail feels more forgiving.&quot; This while be sharing. the same stiff, charging nature with the E99.

Let me muddy this thread: hahaha. Kevo, go ski the 192 24/25 M-Free 108. First ski that I have jumped on in years and said to myself that I have to have this ski. Does all of the Enforcer damping while somehow being loose and precise at the same time. I skied it back to back with the new 189 QST 106 and came away saying that the QST is the most meh ski ever. I also skied it back to back with my E94. Different ski, but from a construction perspective the M-Free has all of the damping without the dead Enforcer feeling. Dont get me wrong, I like Enforcers, but....

Seems like I would enjoy the new E 104 and also the MFree if it ever comes time to replace my 104 frees.

My dad would likely be looking for something a bit more forgiving than the new E 104 based on the descriptions in this thread.

Good question. I was attracted to the new E99 based on the descriptions that it was (1) more composed and quiet than the previous version, (2) shedded a little weight, and (3) the increased rocker in the tail and expected increased looseness in deep snow. All those things turned out to be true and I would say the E99 is one of the most versatile all-mtn high-performance skis around today. More suspension and higher top end than the version 1 E100, but easier to ski, more damp, and just as much (maybe more) stability than the last E100.
I had not even considered the new E104 until noslow started sharing this reviews here. Now I have both...again something I had not considered would happen this season. I think most people are going to prefer the E99. It makes more sense as a daily driver for most people. Since I live in the PNW and ski the same places as you, the slightly wider and looser E104 is more up my alley for a daily driver. I don&#39;t think I&#39;d use them on a firmer or icy day as the E99 or even my Volkl M6 would out-shine them there, but if it is even a little soft and I plan to encounter softer, deeper snow off-trail, the E104 would get the nod. If it is really soft, then a&#39;m grabbing my MFree108s and only running groomers to get back to the lift. Anyhow...do I need both new Enforcers? Probably not. I like them both, but really get excited to spend time on the E104 based on how it performance for the places and terrain I like to ski. I do find myself grabbing my E99s over my M6s, which I never thought I would do, so there&#39;s that.
