Benny, you are as sharp as the surface of an immense perfectly calm lake.
I'm ready, going to start with 3 fingers.

Allright, here's one.
What's the deference between a CU girl and a bowling ball?
You can only get 3 fingers into a bowling ball!
I hope Todd dies by a pair of pliers, slowly.

He might be one of the scariest characters ever written for any show or movie. He is simply chilling. No sense of right or wrong, pure evil.
If Vince Gilligan manages to make us ROOT for Walt next sunday, even after all the destruction he wrought on his family, then he is the greatest show writer ever. Unbelievable.
Personally I think Walk comes back to claim what is his- and that is the fame of being the world's best meth cook. He can't handle not being the guy who knocks.
He does have at least one pair of Dockers tho - did you see that outfit he was wearing for his meeting with Lydia?
I'm still surprised they're going along with meth cooking operation despite the inordinate amount of money they have now. Jack realizes it but he seemed easily convinced to continue taking part with the operation...I guess human greed prevails. Still though, such a high risk now that all this shit is on TV etc and blown wide open...and how do they know that's the only copy of Jesses video to continue to risk operating.

I am always surprised by the huge amount of sway that Jack puts in Todd's opinion. It started in that episode where he was hiring the gang to do the prison hits - and Jack looks back at Todd before answering. It seems whatever Todd says is how it goes.
Read a blog that said the ricin was for those two grey matter geeks for retribution on downplaying WW's contributions. That would be pretty harsh yo - but after Andrea I would think anyone is fair game
that seemed like a real set up episode for the finale. This is kinda like Lost for me, where there's so much out there that I don't know how they're going to tie it all up, but I trust the writers for doing a satisfactory job, even if everything isn't "answered".
I'm just wondering what's gonna happen to Walt's barrel. He doesn't have a car in NH, right? (unless he steals one)
Also, IIRC he was in NM at the beginning of this season, right? It'll be interesting to see how he can slip away from the cops in NH and make it all the way across the country again.
To me he isn't pure evil, he does whatever is convenient for him at the moment or what he is told. Pure evil is understanding that what you are doing is wrong and doing it anyway. He is the perfect Nazi. I mean when I picture the character of the SS, I picture Todd. Doing whatever he is told and trained to do. Accepting an ideology completely. The Third Reich was full of mother fuckers like him. Thankfully, we killed a shit ton of them.
How did Jesse not say that he would cook again once they threatened her though? He knew the deal. Maybe he did and they didn't care, were just showing him that even if he threatened it, they'd kill someone.
I'm sorry I ever doubted that this was going to be the best finale EVAR.
One thing I don't get tho is how Todd could execute Jesse's girlfriend but leave Skylar off the hook with a good scare. I would think the logical solution for a psycho like him would be to execute both of them.
And I agree that Todd is the greatest no-conscience sociopath ever. His politeness and boyish crush on Lydia is extremely creepy.
Better than mr. chigurh from no country for old men?
I think they explained away not killing Skylar by saying how much respect he had for Walt
Anyone see this?
It is amazing!

The whole "respect for Walt" thing puts a damper on this show for me. You kill his brother-in-law after he offers you 80 mil not to do it, then expect things to be "square". Really? Never thought he might be a little peeved at you for stealing his cash and killing his family member? Major hole in the writing. Walt should have died in the desert with Hank.
Nice call.
Personally, I just don't see a group of ultra-violent white supremacists simply retiring to a beach somewhere. Those guys aren't in it to make a big nest egg and walk away, it's what they do.
The final shot of the coffee shop scene where he picks a stray hair or something off her back was gold.
This was a bit of a setup episode compared to the last several, but you couldn't ask for a better setup episode. They're certainly leading us on to think he wastes Jack&Co. with the M60 and at least attempts to kill Gretchen and Elliot with the ricin, but I can't believe it will be that simple. I've been wrong so often with this show that I'm not making any predictions for the finale and am just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
Yes. Chigurh is a close second, but Todd's boyish charm puts him over the top. Chigurh will maybe give you the option of a coin toss. Other than that he's pretty straight forward - he would rather kill you than go through the trouble of having to talk to you. Todd has this weird mix of innocence and ruthlessness.
Disagree, Jack would have no respect for DEA and his idea of family would be different than Walt's esp for a brother in law. Jack did what he thought he had to do within his moral code. To him even though he was taking Walt's money in his mind he had saved his ass. With Jack not in prison and atleast has 10 mil, without Jack prison no money.
I was thinkin' on thisee here matter whilst ridin' maw bike just now. Todd kills Lydia.
What about Huell?
Huell ends up with all that cash.
Walt starts the episode with the ricin retrieval, just before the battle he eats it, Nazi's die, Jessie lives and becomes the secret trust fund manager. Walt turns himself in, full confession and dies.
Walt Jr needs to kill someone and I can't figure that out, maybe even Dad? He could get one of those James Bond crutch guns and walk into the jail and booyaH.
Todd probably didn't kill Skylar because there is too much heat on her, too many questions would be asked (plus the whole respect thing). Jesse's woman was a consequence free hit.
I want to see Jessie pull some McGyver lab shit to explode him and Todd. Dude might actually have to show emotion right before he gets blowed up....
I like the Walt taking the ricin angle, Dhelihiker. I still don't see he and Jesse cooperating in any way, though.
I think at this point, the money is gone. He can't go back to the cabin now that they know where he is, so all that's left is the $100K.
There's been so little Jesse the past few episodes, and on Conan they talked about Paul and Cranston sitting down together and doing a dry read of the script before they filmed. I can't begin to guess how this thing will play out, but I think there has a be a final Jesse/Walt confrontation.
The money is not gone they're still 90 million sitting there with the Nazis. I sure hope that Jesse gets away with it.

Y'know, Jesse is damn near every bit the nasty douchebag that Walt is. Granted, he's suffered a lot at Walt's hands, but he didn't do anything when dead-eye Opie shot that kid, and he offed that gay chemist all cold-blooded, etc. Jesse's gotta die.
