Good on Philly for taking the nearly high road this weekend. I guess they sold out a 3 game series starting tonight where they were going to honor Pete Rose. Plaque, speech, bobblehead and fireworks - the whole shebang.
Then Pete had to go and dare his old nemesis to prove that he wasn't a pederast. Turns out he was. So philly cancelled all the events. Good job. They're still going to kill it on sales from 3 sold out games, so maybe they could kick some of that scratch to a rape charity or some shit.
