Some people are just a bummer.
Just traded my AR for a Model 12 6.5c w/McMillan stock and sofa 10x scope.
Finally got to buy my yearly pass and use the new gun range. Pistol pits for now but 200 yd rifle opens next month. Nicely laid out and very close to my condo.
Gonna be nice to get trigger time in again when it suits me.
Going to buy a SCAR. Should I get the 16 or 17? I know prices are inflated right now. Which do you think has a better chance of retaining its inflated value? While this is not a primary consideration, I don't want to spend $3200 and then have the price drop out and it be worth $1000 less in a year.
my simulation experience tell me the scar is weak
somebody send me a poly AK
ill pay some coin
Is the .243 still available? I thought Ruger dropped it with v2 of the RPR?
who is sending me what exactly?
i will share intel on class iv ceramic plates
waht of my gun faggotry?
Choosing between the 16 and 17 I think the 16 will fall less because its already at a lower price point. I think both will go down in 3 years.
Maybe to $1750 and $2500 which is you think over the next year.
If you want a goofy piston 556 that might not fall off like the scar;
-The acr is cheaper but they feel really front end heavy. I paid $1600 it might go for $1500 now.
-You might try an fnc, I have 2 and they seem to just go up in value. My FA is a tank and does burst and full, m16's can only do one of the two.
I paid $2800 and $7000 for mine and they are worth $3500 and $13000 now.
-The Dr 200 is pretty hokey and suppresses like a stock ak... poorly. I have made money (about $400) on the two I owned.
If you want a goofy piston 308
- get the 17
Good advice, thanks. Would love to shoot that FA FNC one day.
I want a composite ak. Can't one of you hook me up. Hoarding is a sin
Ordered a Yugo M72 RPK kit and barrel from Apex plus a Romy AES 10B is on the way to my FFL guy.

Is barrel flex an issue on RPKs? No experience with them. The muzzle attached bipod seems like it could cause trouble.
It can, they use extra heavy barrels to off set this and deal with the auto fire rates and of course you do not have to use the bipod. In essence anything you attach to the barrel can or will affect the flex and vibrations that occur when a round is fired.
I general the RPKs have a very good accuracy rep for 7.62x39 rifles. The main issue seems to be with the RPK style rear leaf sight which being windage adjustable is subject to damage in rough handling of the gun.
My work around is I have a spare Yugo TWS dawg leg cover and the AES 10B has its own side rail mount.
Here's some gun pron

Picked up a Sig P250 in .40 S&W. Handles much nicer than my Nano 9mm.
Snooze
Sleep tight sweet baby, sleep tight.
Anyone have a good HBAR or Heavy AR upper they can recommend? Or sell me? Looking for something around 16-18" with a muzzle brake. Preferably no grenade mount for legality in shitty states.
