Cannon was surprisingly good today. I was a little disappointed to see only 1" of fresh when I got there but it filled in nicely by mid afternoon. Enough to make the woods fun.

Just got off the phone with my father, he claims 18" at 2pm in the Moosehead lake region. Hoping that Sugarloaf and Saddleback are under reporting this spring storm
I don't know what the mountains are reporting due to a social media blackout before I catch up on F1, but the 8-10" predictions were right on for Sugarloaf, and maybe a little light.
We only saw an inch or so by 11pm Saturday, but there was a solid 8" this morning, and it snowed all day. Much better conditions on Sunday than we saw on Saturday.
Weasel, sorry to hear about your friend. Horrible news, but nice to see you helping him to move forward. I have a single mantra (black) 191cm. The other one is broken, but this one is in ok shape. Let me know.
After the rain all day Saturday, the snowpack was perfect for our little playground session. We've been mtn biking by and thru this zone all bike season. I think every ride we'd stop and talk about the lines that we could ride. The area was clearcut because of some invasive bug. They cleaned it up fairly well, but stumps and crap were definitely a concern if the snow wasn't deep enough. It's definitely deep enough

Snowboard shenanigans > Ski racing entitlement:D
I need to get some boot work done on my existing boots, most likely a punch and some liner work for my high instep. I'm thinking about trying a new boot fitter, either PJ Dewey at Race Stock or the local spot (Ski Stop). Seems like PJ Dewey gets lots of recommendations but I haven't read anything recent about Ski Stop. Anyone get any boot work done there recently, or at Race Stock? Any ideas on cost? I'm going to call over to both places, but figured I'd check in here to see if anyone had any recent experiences with either of them.
Yeah, they're not all bad, but some of those people have their heads up their asses. A guy came into my office for the first time and noticing my photos he proceed to tell me about all the ski racers he hung around with at WV...like I was supposed to be impressed. Then he dissed Cannon saying it was cold and icy. Such a douche. I didn't even bother to tell him that my friend was on the US development team back in the day and skied out of WV. The best was he was actually trying to sell us stuff. That didn't work out so well for him. Dumbass.
lol !
a nice solid 10" at Orford yesterday. dry too

A bit closer to Boston, plus you can immediately try out his work via the Bromley high-speed quad.
Can anyone recommend a shop in the Burlington area with a good selection of helmets? Will also be hitting up Stowe.
Due to a bizarre set of circumstances I find myself WITHOUT any work to do for the remainder of the week. Never thought I'd say that!
