A couple other thoughts if you're looking for a damper/more compliant feeling for your hands. I tried out the new High Roller 3 in DD/MG over the summer, and it had a much damper, more compliant feel compared to a Conti DH Argotal. Similar sensation to the Radials but less extreme. I also had to bump up pressure 1-2 psi above what I ran with Conti DH to stop rim hits, but less than the 3-4 psi I added for Radials. I've also been running Conti Enduro casings up front on 2/3 of my bikes now that you can get them in Super Soft. They definitely are less harsh on the hands than the DH, and I have to run 1psi higher. Tradeoff of course is puncture resistance and rim protection, and rubber lifespan if you go Maxxis. Like all bike stuff, there are no solutions, only compromises. I took the Maxxis off for the summer and will put it back on in the fall/winter when things get wetter and less abrasive, speeds get lower, and grip is at a premium.

Sc tallboy v4 in new England. Worn out minion dhf 2.5 front and dhr 2.4 rear. Didn't realize how worn until I put it beside a fresh one.
I admittedly skimmed this thread but kryptotal? Argotal? Which in front?
I like the 2.5 and 2.4 sizes.
Happy trails
