espn's college gameday's tear jerker stories over student fans with serious health issues, two today with an hour to go; they did not used to do this; used to be a 3 hour tailgate just like when I used to tailgate at university of Houston games. we didn't bring everyone at the tailgate down with a story of someone we know of every time going thru a serious health issue, we got pumped up for the game.
gameday is now a flip to for me, if it's not football; I move on.
OK, this guy is always trashing my Cowboys, but i gotta admit that I still enjoy watching him. I also think that most of the criticisms against Dallas are valid. He is certainly over the top, but he is very entertaining and adds some juice to some drab broadcasts.Quote:

They replayed the 30 for 30 on the 4 SB run last night. You'll have to excuse me if I'm feeling a bit sentimental today but ESPN did a good job on that, so I can't hate them this morning.
30 for 30s are good mostly because I'm convinced they have absolutely nothing to do with the network or more importantly, their "personalities".
This one in particular was remarkably well done, and had to be appended after the 2016 Cavs' title. I hope they have to add to it again in a month.
