Sundance riding with ReWikstrom.com :)
Not the coolest trails ever, but the scenery...awesome.
Thanks-- me too! I had to bail at Copper due to several shitty reasons (one of which being a broken rear deraileur hanger), but now I've never been more motivated about biking in my life. Cant wait to come back and kill the CT next year. August 2013 can't come soon enough........
I got a GoPro. West Ridge of the CT, cut it down from about 30 minutes to 4.

A little bit bouncy...
Strangely, I hadn't t contributed to this thread before. Here's some from the last month:

Georgia Pass - minutes before the most shit-eating-grinningest-fun downhill I've done in a long time

Yeah stoketown! Tell me more about this Georgia Pass. I want to go there.
Pictures aren't nearly as nice as BKs, but Georgia down to Swan River is damn good.

Kenosha to Georgia to Swan in the fall is even better

yes, yes you do. It's part of the Colorado Trail, between Kenosha Pass and Breckenridge. Some outrageous downhills, great singletrack for miles and miles and miles, and on the Kenosha Pass side, some insane aspens when the leaves are changing.
It's a big ride, minimum 25 miles and 4000 or so in elevation gain as an out and back. But the best way to do it IMO is a 2 day overnight, bike from Kenosha to Breck or Keystone, stay there for a night, and bike back. Unless you're a badass who can do 70 miles in a day.
I need to do this ride in the fall. I hear that it can be a mess on weekends and I'm SO willing to take a day off for it.
Downhills are indeed outrageous. We only did the out & back from Kenosha to GA Pass, up the main trail and down West Jefferson something or another, which was some of the best riding I've done in CO. 24mi, ~3.5K of vert. The ~500-700' of climbing at the very end of the ride (where I believe Temagami's last 2 pics were taken) were brutal. So far the highlight of my biking season.
Up the CT and down Jefferson is the way to go. But if anything, the DH on the other side is even better. First its swoopy and fast, then a super chundery technical DH for maybe 1500 vert. Then rolly, up and down and then a big up to West Ridge, and then some of the fastest funnest DH around, with the option to go to Breck or Keystone.
Hit up Diablow two Mondays in a row, not many pics. I'm not a dropping fool - finally managed to do the porch, flume, and smaller pipeline drops. All super smoothe, and left me feeling super wussy for having avoided them for so long.
Eli on the Flume drop.

Managed this on BMW, which ended my day. One of the new WTB FR tubeless ready rim shapped things is on the way to replace.
