Not dropped, just changed all the sizing and some of construction. The venerable 108cm is gone. Think they're heavier overall now too.
Saw a place that has stock of the new Rossignol Sender Free 100 and inquired about dimensions and drill bit guidelines.
They confirmed the lack of metal underfoot as was rumoured with the 3.5mm bit rec and it has a 20 meter radius in the 184cm length with dimensions of 131/100/123mm. So it’s very similar to the 184 SF 110 specs minus 10mm all around.
They weigh 2.1kg each according to their scales which just a bit more than the 182cm Blackops 98.

Haha. I guess what I meant is that I was Tecnica Orange for decades and then went all black with the Concept. It’s now as if my boots disappear and can just focus on skiing. Idk
$571 foe Rossi Sender Free 100 in 179 and 184 free shipping in that link i posted. Hard to believe.
Have a call into my Corbett’s contact to see when they are getting Sender Free 100 stock in but haven’t heard back yet.
Kinda disappointed they don’t have metal sheet underfoot but there’s obviously some weight in them still.
Is there any company that can add tech toes to alpine soles (Lange RS) other than CAST?
Someone posted a video of David Searle and he got it done at Sole boot labs in Chamonix
So, anyone skied the NON BOA Armada boot? Good enough for core group skiers?
That boot has its own thread
Welp, must've slipped my boa filter. Thanks for the heads up, carry on.
The CAST website also lists two shops in Sweden that do the conversion. It also seems that CAST will now put a gripwalk sole on a plug boot. The issues I had with them were mostly due to their in house manufactured alpine soles, which were very poorly manufactured. Gripwalk sole would also really improve ridge walking. I’ve yet to see any boots with this conversion.Quote:

Should be available in '25-'26 and rolls just as easily on snow as it does on pavement!

I'll be the guinea pig. I have some on the way to compare against my old WC101 and SF110.Quote:

I've gotten a few days of skiing on the new Blank, man the new one is great. Tail felt stiffer and less twitchy overall than the old one. So smooth but can go hard.
New sender free 100 is quite fun as well, although I'm not sure how much I loved it with it lacking metal vs the 110. It was noticeably less damp but still skied well.
New Blank was great. Longer radius and a much smoother shape.
New m free 100 is great.
Anyone here know if Head discontinued the Raptor 140 S? I’ve only seen pics of the WCR 3 and Raptor 130 (which is blue this coming season). If they did will have to check out the Cortex 140 and Remedy 130
Probably gonna come out as double boa.
I as under the impression the CAST tech toe conversion was just to use for the up ?
