No support for any sports team that resides in Florida these days. Canada has gone long enough without the cup, and the oilers winning it would be a chef’s kiss to end the season.
Canada is my favorite country on the planet and I would live there if I could. And yet there is something so fun about the cup drought- I hope it lasts forever. Maybe I'm still just mad about the 2010 Olympics. Go FL, can't believe I wrote that.
(For the record, I do think FL is the better team and "learned from their loss" last year and will win. But this will probably go 6 or 7 (hopefully)
The Panthers are so good in the playoffs. They’re well coached and brilliantly constructed. Solid offense that plays a great two way game. Some of their players are kinda dirty, they have a top class defense and Bobrovsky is playing the way he has always been capable of when he has his game. Hope it’s a great series.
Yeah the panthers are a scary stacked team. And their defense got some amazing plays in during the rangers series alone.

It’s a weird streak for sure. 31 years. Statistically, Canada teams could have won 7 in that span. Lots of theories.
Nevertheless, I am getting a bit tired of the narrative. Florida’s roster has more Canadians than other nationalities.
Guaranteed 120min more of NHL hockey this year. Hoping the Oilers can win themselves more.
At least the fans at Roger’s will be more respectful during the anthems.
Yeah FL fans keeping it classy like usual by disrespecting both anthems...the shirtless kid is also pure Florida.
Hope things can get better but at least the rest of the playoffs were fun to watch.
