A bike pump works fine on the Firestone bags. I ran my outlets to the back bumper for ease of access. I think mine max out at 35psi, I probably run around 18-20. You don't need anything high volume or high pressure.

Careful gents, oversharing about the van is how they catch many predators...
Lol
Yeah I was seeing 20psi,that's why I asked. Thanx.
Saw a newer hiace this weekend. Kinda big.

Interesting. Too big for a daily driver though.
I had no idea they got that big. I’m used to seeing the older models that resemble a vanagon.
Hey gravitylover - were you in Reno today? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8650a42a2c.jpg
I got the 3.5 journey’s off road lift on a fwd 2014 sienna.
Just put on larger tires today 255/55/R18s per the website indicating this is the size that would work. Rubbing even on straights, will take back to the tire store tomorrow but I believe there was someone else in this thread w same working combination?
Got Falken AT trails. Looks sweet but something’s off for sure
2013 with 235/65r17s with the same lift. Minor rub at full lock when new, but gone after 35k on the tires.
Those are effectively the same diameter (737.3mm vs 737.7mm). I can't imagine a <1mm on the tire makes a difference in rubbing.
Maybe the offset of your 18s is different than my 17s? Else something sounds up?
Those tires run big? Was leaning going back to them or the AT3W that I liked on the last van.
Too bad this is right hand drive https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH
But it's JDM dude. They're worth like double... Or not.
Anyone know much about the Metris vans? 2.0 turbo, and rwd. How are they not yet a one make race series for dads?
Old video, but unless the Metris has changed significantly since this review I’d steer clear.

fact.
Yeah, we really do miss out on some of the best smaller vehicles in the US. My understanding is that VW makes some good mid sized vans for Europe and Ford has a whole family of midsized Transits that aren’t sold here.
On the upside, I made a quick run upstate in my Sienna this week and it worked really well. I ended sleeping in my hammock but the van was there in case of rain and moved my kayak and gear back and forth stress free.
Since the breaking in period, I’ve generally left the Sienna in eco mode to maximize mpg but decided to try out sport mode this week. I am not sure I could feel the difference between normal and eco but it is a noticeably better driving vehicle in sport mode. Still a minivan but a whole different confidence inspiring beast, almost fun.
