Haven’t had a Sap in a while. As good as I remember. Glad I bought 8, going to make a nice turkey day beer.

Dematerialize. Actual color is lighter than this photo shows
Hanging with some friends at Lawsons, great time until these DBags kid pulled the fire alarm. Piercing noise for 5 minutes until it got shut off. FD arrived to coach them on proper way to watch children.
As the bartenders were still serving, we stayed put. Half of the crowd went outside and the other side shuffled into better seats.

THE HERMIT
Moonraker Brewing, Auburn, California:
This is one of the first hazy IPAs I ever had (along with Moonraker's Zulu Haze). They changed the cans since then (this is roughly 3 years ago), but they used to list the "fruit" notes that the beer would have. I recall that the original can of The Hermit said something about "mangoes."
I do not follow craft beer blogs or the scene very heavily, so I bought the 4-pack because I'd never heard of it and it was a local brewering (60 miles west of where I live).
The first can I drank I almost spit out as it tasted like a flavor-enhanced beer that had been brewed with mangoes and I despise flavored IPAs (really any flavored beer). I was shoveling snow at the time and kept pounding them, went through a whole 4-pack, and each one tasted better than the last.
Novice that I was, I later learned that the "mango" flavor was a by-product of the hops that were used.
This had become one of my favorites from Moonraker, and it's one of their regular cannings, too (so others obviously dig it, too).
The funny thing is that next time I went to the local craft liquor store to buy some more they told me that they couldn't get it any more.
Now I usually purchase straight from the brewery if I make a trip down to the Bay Area, so it's a treat.

Similar in taste to Knee Deep’s Man Juice IPA...
No date on this can and I bought it at the brewery but it doesn’t taste as fresh as I hoped. The aroma is still amazing.
