Its a huge bummer about Mason, from what i have heard, he was approaching the Dihedrals (Half a Finger / J&M-B&M) platform from the base of Beckeys / Satans and it pulled on him. I have an idea of which flake it was and it always seemed solid to me, i can honestly say I have traversed across that thing too many times to count to avoid the grungy slab section on that approach.Quote:

There’s people out at Alta making turns. But if you want to guarantee yourself a full ski season or at least being healthy for opening day I’d recommend waiting. Snow safety guys are walking on the hill not skiing.

Sounds like any one person can have two standing reservations, and when you use one, it's freed up to book another. But that was the rumor a long time ago.
