Hey stealurface, to appease all these middle-aged men that are upset about your nice whip, maybe you should have the TGR collective decide what your customized plate will say. Could be fun. Could be bad.

Well hate to tell ya but people in montana wave at each(or some variation). Luckily you'll be in Bozeman and not Montana though.

Says the old fuck that has been banging the same piece of cellulite the past 2 decades.
Does your dick even work this late in the game? I heard impotence can really get to a guy. Maybe that’s why yer such an insufferable cunt.

Week of 7/16 build date. Woot!
Standard plates for me.
My wife is unconcerned about street cred and it genuinely bothers me to be buying a 4-banger, but she’ll now get the chance to learn how to drive manual - as will my daughters. Looking forward to this one. She hates the idea, but time for me to get what I want out of this purchase.
That's a good dad!!! (And husband)
Don't be concerned about the cylinder count. Ford's got that engine platform pretty dialed and it actually has crazy good power. Won't have the raw grunt of a V8 (not that the new one even has a V8), but it'll have WAAAAAY more power than the V8 in the old Broncos, that's for sure. It's a fine motor. I'd have no problem with it. Besides, horsepower difference between that and the 6 is negligable (30 maybe?), and it's torque is still not bad. 325 vs 415 lb-ft. Worth it to get the manual IMO!!!
Having my daughter learn to drive a manual transmission was a major win. She hated it. But she is grateful. And her new to her car is a manual. Thing #2 spent a lot of time on it. Thing #3 didn't get as much time before I returned the last lease. Nothing like having them learn on someone else's clutch. Worth every penny.
Full agreement with you on observations about the power plant. It dwarfs the small v-8 in an old explorer I’m keeping and can’t seem to kill. Been the best $ for $ car I’ve ever owned.
Have a buddy who just got the Jeep 392. Still rather have what’s on the way to me, but damn that engine sounds great. Little different numbers with that one than v-8s of old, but the I-4 remains somewhat competitive. Beats the hell out of the manual Penstar on Ribicon manual. Hoping for the best!
Stoked for you MK. My stepson told me if I got him a stick he wouldn't drive it so I gave him a stick of course. I did have to replace the clutch last year because the throw out bearing failed but totally not his fault...it was already making noise when I gave him the car. I always teach that if you aren't stalling the car once a day you are slipping the clutch too much.
Really looking forward to hearing how these manual Broncos pan out for people.
Just spotted a full size in the wild for the first time. Gotta say, the 4 door is pretty fuckin massive. Looked significantly bigger than the wrangler from a side view.

I was with the Funhaver Bronco on the Rubicon a couple weeks ago. It’s alright. It can pull off a difficult trail and drive back home on the highway. Interior was a little boring for me, but I think they tried to keep it simple like the original Broncos. They had the new Bronco parked next to a classic at Rubicon springs. The styling is actually very similar between the two. There’s some sheet metal crease that is the exact same. I just bought what I think is my last vehicle, a Jeep JLR, so not really thirsty for the Bronco.
I spotted one on the lot so I pulled over to check it out. I’m more interested in the two door so I walked around the lot to see if there was one.

no two doors and no hard tops. Here’s one next to a bronco sport though. Big difference.

Gonna be seeing a lot more soft tops for next several months. Soft top not an option on 2dr. Very few of them out.
