Anyone have blankets from Pendleton?
They worth they hype?
I have this one:

It's nice enough, but I find it a bit too scratchy to be my end of life blanket. I bought it on some screaming deal online, so kept it. Other types say they are 'Napped; fabric is combed for a softer, thicker feel' so maybe those are the dank ones. And there's a Merino wool one too that I'm sure is nicer but $$$.
Our 30 year old Hudson Bay 6 Point is good for another 30 years. Probably another 50 if we had the time.
FTR, our’s is one of the expensive napped pattern styles.
Why are you hoarding scratchy blankets?
Kind of funny intended use - the place I moved into has a large living room off of the kitchen with a vaulted ceiling and I’m thinking about hanging one of their blankets since some of the artwork is pretty dang cool, and very vibrant from the pictures I’ve seen.
Actually, not thinking about it, going to do it. Just need to decide on a pattern. Leaning toward no hanging tabs since they seem like they’d be annoying when actually using it as a blanket. Never thought I’d be a blanket/tapestry hanging kind of guy but here we are..
@ e or b: So, a blanket on the wall?
Essentially. However, apparently not as uncommon as it may sound.
It won’t look this good in my space, but this is the general idea:

Just trying to picture it
I mean I can picture cool textiles on a wall, but the blanket part is throwing me. Not up on my Pendleton patterns apparently.
Blanket on the wall is a slippery slope to incense sticks and patchouli oil.
I'm actually sorta kinda looking at textiles for this place to help control sound (textiles deaden sound) and look cool at the same time so post up what you do.

And if you've got the schekels, peruvian textiles are mind blowing, especially chinchero: https://www.textilescusco.org/shop-categories

I don't mind the feel of wool but some people do.
I was gifted a will blanket from here that I like a lot. https://eighthgeneration.com/collections/blankets
That or selling videos of yourself online
There are some cool fabrics and products for this but I know more about them in Europe than here. Maybe ::: ::: or another architecture type mag can suggest something. https://www.baux.se
JFC it ain’t scratchy. It’s soft.
Ordered a new Persian type rug for the dining room yesterday. Pretty sure it will be with me until the end.
Absolutely, the girls trust my Metro Man abilities when it comes to decorating the casa.
I've had this bag for ~10 years and it's just getting broke in. The zippers were pretty stiff for the 1st few years but super smooth now. I've never used the backpack straps so i'd probably skip that feature if it was an option. Lifetime bomber warranty of course.
