Exactly. Why would you compare non-aspirated MX5 to a GXP w turbo? The Mazda is down what...90 hp on the GXP?
Wife owned a 1990 Miata. Was a very balanced car that with a bit of suspension tuning could tear up an auto-x course on Sunday as well. The Solstice is better looking. I don't like the looks of any of the Miata's, but once you got on/in and dropped the top it was a blast. Similar to the MR2--agreed there PNW. The MR2 lookswise for me never did it either, but you got in and it was like driving a reincarnated x1/9...that ran.
Btw, the 1990 Miata is still going. My friends daughter drives it. 200K mi and still on the original clutch...crazy.
Sky Redline, Miata, S200. Those are like having a nice looking wife. Cool but back to porn i.e. Outrageous beauty that performs beyond your dreams on command.
Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. 220 m.p.h. top end. 0-100 in about 7 sec.

That looks like its from an old computer game. Do you jerk off to computer rendered images of women too?
A gentleman never talks. And thank for the opportunity to say my first "Fuck You" of the day. I feel better. :)
I give you that.
The S2000 is much better in the quick, good handling small convertible section. The Solstice really follows some of the Detroit same old, same olds of lacking great handling and being a little fatter/weighing more than it should for sports cars; but the gxp version has enough to keep it fun and I really bought it because it looks so unique. I could've got a bmw z3 or z4 that perform better, but I just liked the solstice looks too much.
I think I grew a little chesthair just watching that maserati 450S vid, wow.
This is a cool S2000

^^^ that would be scary as hell to drive, that much weight out front with that much power would be ridiculous.
Well look what stopped by my nephews garage. No Miata but pretty sweet.

That Porsche is sweet! Little out of my price range thoug, I am flying to Chicago tomorrow morning to pick this one up and drive it back to Utah. 1989 944 Turbo (S spec). Stoked would be an understatement.

944 brings back memories of waking up with girlfriend, getting ready for the day .... Heading out for said 944......And her car gone.
Yup. Not sure why, but I had to change my name. Start over.
It was hard to lose my 2009 join date. Therapy and a lot of booze helped.
S2000s are a ton of fun. I got the chance to drive one for a day up at an autocross at Loring AFB in Maine a few weeks ago. It's everything I would want in a car solely for entertainment on autocross courses. It's frantic on and off the power in tight stuff, and you can make the car dance with the throttle - line adjustments are just an ankle flex away. Weight shifts really really well with the throttle.
On another note, Loring was the perfect place for autocross. We had a 1:40 autocross course, and speeds were as high as 90, even in my m3. While that's nothing on the track, it's a different world on a tight course. Video below:

So I made it home from Chicago sunday night. Car is sweet. looks great, feels great, and overall a good upgrade from the MR2 Turbo.

And lastly, that cup car a few posts up had me looking up porsche races and I found a gem.
These dudes are drivin the SHIT out of these cars. gets really good around 2:00 and is great to watch them battle for the lead from there on out.
