Bones died today. Just fell over dead. He's been struggling drinking a lot of water so I'm grateful he didn't suffer.

Oh no! I was just thinking of Bones this morning when I looked at my skinny-minny Alice! I've started her on meds for her hyper-thyroid issue and am holding out hope it helps her put weight on again. Looking at her weight loss I would think "well, Bones is skinny and 4matic says he's fine otherwise so.......
So sorry for your losses!
It's crazy how attached we get to these weird little heat robbing creatures. RIP Bones.

Here's Nemo caught in the act of throwing all of the socks on the floor. Actually opens the drawer to do this when she's been wronged.

Vibes, man.
What a beautiful cat.
There was a lot of joy in those 17 years, I bet.
Yes. We are sad when they go because they bring us so much happiness while here even though it is short.
Thanks for posting the sock stoke. We should celebrate or feline friends.
KQ. Bones was always skinny and always had a good appetite. In fact, the first sign that he was not right was months ago when he gained weight. He just couldn't eat enough I suppose to get the water he needed. Then he started struggling to eat and drinking a lot of water. We know how that ends.. could I have done more for him? Maybe. But I didn't expect sudden heart failure would be his end. Like I said, I am sad he is gone but grateful he didn't suffer. He knocked down a mouse not two weeks ago.
When he was king:

Bones was a great looking cat.
Sorry to hear it, 4matic. Bengals are a special breed. Taj lived probably that long as well.
When you're ready, you'll find a new fuzzy friend. Or maybe, like Leeloo, they will find you. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b465a5c4ba.jpg
