True, but fiberglass composite laminates are at their weakest when stressed, and ramming in a screw does that. Tighter fit does not necessarily mean greater pullout strength.Quote:

Anyone know the limit on the extension arms for the heel piece on a pivot? After spending a bit more time making sure my forward pressure was correct, I’m pretty sure I’m on the edge here with the existing mount location.
I can see all three bands and right on the edge of seeing threads. Is there an official limit suggested by Look? I can’t seem to find that info, but I’m sure I have read it in the past.

One somewhat stiff spinner on a P18 mount... Must have drilled a bit crooked. Anything to be concerned about? Or just run it

I have 3 setups with pivots and they all touch the arms with both pair of boots I have. I swear I recently stumbled upon some literature for pivot/fks that showed there was supposed to be contact there, but I can't find it again so I could be mistaken. Don't grind your boots.Quote:
