It's busier than it used to be, and there is even a "rush hour" of sorts with all the subcontractors coming in from Delta and elsewhere. I don't really notice it usually, outside of the leaf peepers that sometimes literally set up in the middle of the road.Quote:

You should see how many contractors make the Montrose - Telluride commute year round.
Kebler was in great shape when I drove it the other day. Fresh grade/mag on the CB side. You can tell they mag'd the shit out of that road all summer, very little dust/washboard.
Yeah, it was pretty wild when we first started seeing so many trucks from Montrose and Delta. They work year round. One of the bigger condo buildings near me is getting a new roof right now with roofers from Omaha. Our new roof last summer was subbed out to a crew our of Greeley.Quote:

I was just about to post this same thing. I got a flat outside Marble maybe 15 years ago and the guy who picked me up and gave me a ride to Carbondale was commuting from Montrose to Aspen for work each week.
