S4 gear lock down X. Simple, effective, easy to deploy and stow your glass. Keeps the elements at bay as well. I'm not a fan of the full cover pouch type.

Rev turned me on to FHF Gear for a bino harness and I really like it. I also have an Eberlestock Nosegunner I bought before the FHF that I have worn on one hike that is past the return period. It has a "holster" behind the bino holder which is why I got it but it doesn't fit my 10x50s. Fits my 8x42s but I rarely use those for hunting. Wanna swap one of your holsters for the Eberlestock? It's the desert tan color.

Thanks for the replies guys. Conundrum, shoot me an email (I think you should have it) and let's talk.
Here's my AK47. Just added a couple tacticool parts, still want to grab a 600 lumen light to run on it but otherwise really happy with it.

Primary Arms has the 500 lumens enforce light on sale sumtimes. Picked one up recently for $130 versus $170 regular.
Bought an atlas and some slooow (n570) powder for my 280 ackley today. Also a drop tube, primers and some more fun stuff.
Sooo, it sounds like the AK parts kits are drying up and customers in Africa (military) paying top $$$ for weapons the AK market is getting stupid again.
its 2012 all over again.
LS looks like you picked up a milled something and full on Zhukov?

Opinions on a detachable bipod for my 7 mag? Hoping for a quick release on the swivel so I can easily use on other rifles. Looking at Harris. Anything else I should consider?
I have a harris ultralight. It does the job and is easy to move around.
Everybody has a Harris because they are great for the money.
If you want to burn $500, try a bobro. I talked a friend into one and steal it at the range as much as possible.
I think it was around $700 + $200 worth of small parts to further pimp it out. It's a Century C39V2. It's got a milled receiver which makes it feel pretty nice.
Yep, 100% US made. Honestly some of the small parts are shitty considering the price and the hype for being a US made AK, but it's not a bad AK for the money. A lot cheaper than say a Krebs or Rifle Dynamics AK. Shoots almost as good. But I've already broken the rear sight on it, which is part of the reason I replaced it with the Strike Industries RRAK mount and a Primary Arms Red Dot.
Definitive arms or DDI are the best made American AKs on market right now.
Desert eagle budddd
Minneapolis made. I can have them print me a fakkin ak
Trigger pulled (pun not intended) on a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .223. Great deal, too. Someone won it in a raffle and decided to sell it $100 less than the best price I could find around town.
Tonight, I found someone selling a used Bell & Carlson M40 tactical stock that will fit my new rifle. Now I just need to figure out base, rings and scope. I'm thinking either SWFA SS or Leupold VX-R Tactical, both in 3X9 40mm.
I'm pretty jacked.
I recently bought a Polish AK47/AKM from Atlantic Firearms. The rifle was sold as a demo with the only disclaimer that "less than 100 rds had been fired" on this weapon.
Upon receiving the rifle I found it has a severely canted front sight. Not good. After viewing the Rob Ski video of the RAS47 and at the end it closed on the nogo gage I decided to order my own set from Brownells. Long story short I get the gages and for the heck of it I decide to check the Polish AK, to my horror the bolt and carrier closed on the nogo gage.
I have since contacted Atlantic but have yet to hear form them. Check your guns people!
Finally received my Kimber 1911 Pro Carry II in .45acp. Put about 50 rounds through it and could not believe I was shooting a .45--the thing handles and shoots like a tame 9mm. Very impressed.
Looking for a 20 gauge O/U for general upland hunting this fall. Going to scour the local pawn shops for a decently priced Citori, though any feedback on some of the less expensive imports out there? Reviews seem hit or miss, some are crap while others a steal?
Shot my ruger precision rifle yesterday. Didn't zero it beyond a "good 'nuff" zero at 100 yards and then moved out to 10x10" steel at 200 yards. It was boring how easy it was to centerpunch the target. Looking forward to taking it to a range with a bench rest so I can get it perfectly zeroed and stretch it out long range.
I'm stoked on this review. :)
