The chatter about bringing kids up to ski on Saturdays has got me thinking. I taught weekend kid's programs for many years and it was the most fun and satisfying to bring a group of kid's along that way. And we got to cut the lines and eat early lunch so avoided the worst of things on the hill.
But now I'm starting to think I can give my grandson a comparable leg up if he can come for 15 days of midweek skiing - 3 weeks of holidays 1) week before Christmas 2) spring break 3) A Basin when school lets out. It's destination skiing with instruction the whole way, but on a budget because Grandma gets paid in hugs. :)
