I am but more on the data collection and historical trending side. The software I install and configure talks to the PLC's and other field devices to collect data for analysis. If it talks bacnet, modbus, SNMP etc...The software can talk to it. It's used big in pharma, manufacturing , and oil industry mostly. I implement it for data centers.
I figured it had to be a pretty mature biz as I'd assume any large horticulture biz would use automation controls.
Anybody buying pot stocks? 4matic?
Scott's Miracle-Gro has done quite well since they acquired a hydroponic company

I hand water, so the only things left are lights and fans. AC plugs into the wall and has built in thermostat. Lots of money can be spent on unnecessary tech.

See but you could auto water to exact spec and probably do it from a smart phone with a joint in your mouth, but I get it the work is probably very Zen or whatever so... I'll bet when the big boys start growing this will be huge business just like it is for many industries.
I bought HEMP for the hell of it a while ago. It's done nothing. I was looking at a couple others, but i'm somewhat concerned on what exactly this new administration is going to do. They can't go backwards (I think due to majority support now) but moving forward may stall for at least two years which could devastate a company.
This is what bugs me so much about the mass decision to stall for more time. By not committing fully and quickly you rule out all but the big boys for investment in the market. And they risk the tax windfall they would have by being the only game in town. If VT legislature had half a brain, they would pass the bill from last year, get their market up and going inside 18 months, and sandbag the masshole gubment. There are a lot of fucking people in the NE. It is a huge money advantage to get there first.

It it ever becomes commercially legal the pharmaceuticals will crush small players. Still too much political risk for private equity or money managers to move the existing small cap stocks and earnings are unpredictable.
I personally never invest in individual small cap stocks. Too much risk.
^^^That could guarantee 99$ zips for all.
It seems a little unnerving that this mj use map is almost identical to trumpghanistan dmz borders.

I did not expect Montana would be so krisp, well done Big Sky state
Until the industry has access to banks it will remain a glorified cottage industry
And, in order to stay competitive with tobacco, cigarette producers would harvest shitty Mexican pot that tasted so bad, they'd cover the taste with menthol, thus giving rise to the brand name Mexithol.
^yup. Basically in order to keep prices cheap they would cut corners wherever possible.
yep, much to the chagrin of Clement LeRoy Otter and his puppet Elisha Figureoua. Probably quite the pleasure to ISP that apparently likes to follow Idaho plates in unmarked cars back into Idaho so they can bust them. Their grow is right across the border on the Snake River giving the big middle finger to Idaho.
Interesting % population chart too. I noticed that Utah, Iowa, Mississippi and Alabama don't report anything. Huh wonder why.
That's right off this hiway, yes?
