Then go read another thread. [emoji849] some people have a sense of humor and get a kick out of comparing odd human quirks. Obviously you don't. Go fight some other crime

seems the thread hits a little too close to home on TRG...
lol
Let’s not eat ourselves while we laugh at ourselves
Peace
Take a lap with your mansplaining, jong. ;)
I think it's obvious this thread went from making fun of the fake new-school overlanders/vanlifers with too much money to burn to just posting anything to get more points. I am guilty of strapping shit on my disco back in the day but at least I actually wheeled the damned thing, camped in some amazing places. I give that cruiser props for keeping it real, just so happens we've come full circle and what used to be things out of necessity and safety are now just baubles and fodder for the 'gram.
It's so......... clean
I’m guessing you drive a rig with GOToS. Not only are you a fucking moron but you have sand in your vagina

Maybe. But it seems like there are much better choices for that.
It's like making a bonfire out of money.
My truck is stock and 45 years old. My other vehicle is stock and 24 years old. It’s nice that you find me attractive but I don’t care for moronic Sallies.

Guilty as charged, I suppose I am explaining obvious shit. But all this GOTOS is super confusing for most people, like WTF is all that shit for and where do those people go? I’m still learning what I need and don’t need on my vehicle, I’m a noob with a new-to-me heavy old van that has very little storage inside after 2 kids a wife and a big dog goes in it.
This one is rad.

That poor 62. How did we get all over BC norte y sur without all that?
Attachment 374190
Having owned a 62. What an underpowered thin tin shit box.
My old grand wagoneer would chew that up and spit that out. Lol.
We called it The Burro for a reason. 9 mpg of pure awesomeness.
Pretty sure there was a thread about that whole foods. I only saw one bike hit the crossbar when I lived a few blocks away.
My friend loved his 62 (diesel). Like cold dead hands loved it. But at some point the rust won.
We loved that rig,. Took it all over Baja and the southwest. Sold it to Icon so it's still out there somewhere.
Found on KSL.com while looking for bespoke overlanding gear...

Tap, can I get a ruling here? Should we get extra points for vehicles with big ass chrome rims overlanding? I feel like that's worth more than 1 or 2 points.
Also, I'm a bit disappointed the hilift is not mounted on the caddy hood.
Is that a bbq smoker trailer with a hi-lift?
Owner has it listed as an overlanding trailer. Looks like an old army trailer converted, which is a common conversion for the balling-on-a-budget overlanding community.
