I was imagining the 108Ti to be more like a user friendlier Wren than the Woodsman. Great write up. Did you notice some desirable qualities in the metal of the K2 over the ON3P?

Not sure if you guys have heard of this one, or if its in the tread. Next years SGN Skis lineup. Small Norwegian company. Great skis, great graphic and some damn good skis.

The mindbender 108 is mind bending because it’s the first k2 I’ve wanted to own in about a decade.
Skied them at bbi and they were great

Skied all the same skis except the Woodsman and the Declivity X and agree with XavierD's breakdown. Super stoked for K2 next season, best run of the demo was on the Mindbender 116. Also stoked that the Blizzard Zero G 105 and 95 weren't totally neutered - yes, they are more accessible and we won't have to tell people to detune them out of the plastic, but they still rip.
Totally unsubstantiated rumors of a Scarpa Alien XT. Could this be like an F1 with the new tech? Anybody know anything?
Kingpin M-works 620/540g brake/brake less.
That or a F1 RS is the obvious gap in the line. It seems believable to have a ~120 flex boot with the F1’s quality of walk mode for sub 1200g

Read somewhere that 4FRNT is changing the Devastator?
Any ideas what they’re doing to it?
No go on the Voile belt, but this looks promising. Snowboard-Bindings-Designed-to-Transform-Into-Snowshoes
The voile belt kinda already exists, provided your slim-ish....

Anybody got time on the K2 mindbender boots? Haven’t seen much on them.Attachment 271021

This should be in the shit that annoys you thread but damn if it isn’t annoying enough to have multiple skis sharing the same name but boots too?
I know the did they same shit with Pinnacle but maybe it’s more irksome this year because I actually want to try out the mind bender skis
The lever is almost identical. These were 25.5’s and were heavier than my 120 26.5 XTD’s by a good amount. 99 last I believe but felt slightly wider and I have a fat foot. ROM wasn’t bad for a hybrid boot.
I messed up and didn't follow a few pages. Is the Hawx XTD being updated
I'm told they're also changing the forward lean out of the box. shop owner was uncertain if they were changing something in the mold or simply which flip chip came with the boot.
discussion came up after he got me one of the 13/19 flip chips. would be curious if anyone closer to amer can confirm.
Where can I get one of those flip chips? No response from the local dealer so need to start looking abroad.
New Hawx Ultra XTD 130 for next year sees the following updates:
1. New liner has a much improved fit in the heel/ankle and tongue. Tongue gets a supportive plastic shield over the shin area.
2. Sole goes GripWalk (applies to all XTD boots)
3. New buckles borrow tech from Backland, allowing more useable cuff ROM and easier transitions (applies to all XTD boots)
4. Cam-style power strap
No change to plastics (remains in Grilamid), no change to forward lean (15° out of the box, can be flipped to 17°). A 13°/19° flip chip is available as a spare part- your local Atomic dealer just needs to download the latest spare part catalog and order the part.
