Truck Porn? I have always loved this Tacoma Four Wheeler magazine built in 2004.

Well, I do believe that car wins this thread... But then I read this: http://blog.caranddriver.com/tally-b...ack-to-basics/
In my opinion, the new Aero 8 has to be about the most amazing looking car to come out in decades, but then again, I've always thought that era of styling was the best evar.Quote:

That Morgan is cross-eyed and made of wood.
Doesn't do it for me. Looks like a rehashed version of an old car. Cause it is. I love the old ones, but cmon guys, come up with something new. I feel the same way about the Camano and the challenger, etc... Just because you made something cool back in the day, and nothing cool for years, doesn
the mean that bringing back the same old shape is what you should do. Shows a lack of creativity to me.
It's more like an homage. When you start looking at the parts there's nothing old-fashioned about it.
There's definitely cars I'd rather have though.
Anyone know what this is?

Pretty sure that's the right hood, just a different color for whatever reason.

Thanks. A 458 with a off color hood. $250K. Pic is from my nephews FB page. There was a time I wouldn't trust him with my lawn mower, and now he plays with these in his shop.
Is that...
-a custom roof bubble?
-an optical illusion?
-something Ferrari is nice enough to do for us tall folk?
Could use one on my new ride for helmet fitment. Certainly not the coolest car in this thread, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far!

^^ I have a BRZ and yeah, its a fkn hoot! Be careful though or you'll only get 10k out of the rear tires :)
I'd like to drive a brz.
Somebody here at the office has one. I park close to him sometimes, people almost naturally tend to park the cool cars in the same general area, away from the other cars. Here is my car at the office today.
I made the choice to get something that is just purely fun to drive. I am very happy I did.

Black and red interior?
Subaru's had plenty of time to turbo the BRZ. Sales have really fallen off, I wonder why they haven't done it yet. Give it the same engine that's in the 2015 WRX and it would be a real blast.
Apparently the turbo isn't going to happen. I understand why people want more power, but I happen to think the power levels of the car suit it perfectly. It isn't a competitor to the modern breed of ultra fast GT cars, but a throwback to the simple, rewarding cars of the 80's and early 90's. I had a few 2nd gen RX-7's when I was in high school/college which I adored. This car is just like them with the benefits of being 25 years newer. I do like the low CG from the boxer motor, but if it were up to me, this car would have a 3S-GE Beams engine. Maybe when the warranty is up I'll throw one in there.
It's got plenty big balls. Enough to get me into plenty of trouble. I can keep up and sometimes even pull a hill or two with the A level cars on the open road between 30 and license suspended instantly speed and get ~30mpg doing it. I watch nearly everybody wrestle with corners on tight backroads and I wonder why. Fun as shit to rally with. Heheh... had a good run on the way home tonight with a guy in a blue Rex for about 30 miles.
By the same token something about a 1962 or so Olds 215 V8 with a factory turbo (yes there was one) and a Muncie 4 speed or maybe a Tremec 5 speed would make it fkna perfect methinks.
That Amazon is awesome! A wagon to be proud of.
But why not make it an option?
I get that the car is well balanced as-is, but if people would buy a turbo, why not offer it?
Kind of like the old Shelby Mustangs and Cobras. The GT350 and 289 Cobras were the well balanced ones, but they still offered the 427 cobra and GT500 with the huge motors for those who wanted them.
Gorgeous car and I just did the same... I just purchased my neighbors loaded 2005 BMW 545i Sport with 20,000 miles... The car was only driven on weekends and covered in the winter... I had no clue to the performance of this car and have become a BMW fanboy... My co-worker just purchased an M3 and that car is for realz...
Congrats...
All kinds of aftermarket stuff out there for the BRZ if you want power.
This should get you moving:

Yeah, that won't void the warranty or anything...
I'd take a 289 cobra any day or a whopping, over-powered 427 cobra. 289 was a fine engine and I'm more into finessing the wheel and the stick shift than simply stomping on the pedal. I had a friend with a Mustang coupe 289...can't remember exact year...1967??...but that thing was just great all around car. I would be just as h happy with a six, if it had good, tight steering and a decent tranny.
As to the above: I'm making a small presumption on the 289 vs 427 cobra....having not driven any cobra at all!!! That's like asking which car I prefer: the Ferrari 250 LM or the 250 GTO. (I actually like the 250 LM better....call me crazy.)
I want one.
Unfortunately, about the only road this Mercedes looker is going to see are the virtual roads of the next Grant Turismo video game. :(
