I love the look in that pooch's eyes. Concentration and determination!

Good lookin' dog! I LOVE the darker red goldens. I had a couple of them before these guys. My wife and I definitely want to go back to dark goldens again at some point. Hopefully a rescue type situation.
We like these dudes too, but they just don't have the same personality as the retrievers. They fucking own it in the snow though.

^^^ Now that is one cute lab. I absolutely love how excited they get about the smallest things.
Thats a badass lab, griz. Looks just like mine.
Gotta love the labs - Abi is our third. Just lost our old lab PJ last year - he had a good run over 16 years. Here's a tribute pic of the "old man." - RIP.

I'm told my 55 pound lab recently kicked an 80 pound German Shepard's ass. I'm 2 parts proud, 1 part kinda worried.
Your dog looks a lot like my black lab, Yoshi.

Ratties RULE!!! Mango, my 15 lb rattie pulled me down the street on my road bike at 13 mph. If you do the math on that (power to weight ratio) that's AWESOME! She's fast as hell, but a little "high strung". ;)

Happy Halloween!!!
Yeah, it's kinda funny to see her git her hackles up. That short fir on her back stands STRAIGHT up. The yorkie (he's 11 and doesn't have a full compliment of teeth anymore) has learned the hard way not to mess with her when she's sleeping, but we try to discourage pretty much all aggressive behavior as much as possible.
Speaking of little dogs vs big dogs, I saw this last week and it's inspiring, impressive but sad too. Hero Dog

This furball has shredded every stuffed animal he's laid his mouth on. First he rips the eyes off, then guts out the stuffing only to leave behind the fabric carcass. Just before I left for Denver, I gave him a small red teddy bear. My dad tells me that he has yet to even nibble on on it and carries it around very gently as if it was a duck he was fetching. Think he knows I'm gone?
