Oh man, that’s actually kind of threadworthy. There probably aren’t many people more frustrated than I am with ‘citizens’ in general. I’ve been misanthropic for years, and the current events have just made that even worse. Frankly, I’m kind of glad I’m old and don’t expect to be around to see a lot of this shit play out. I’ve cut way back on acquaintances and have lost whatever trust I might have had in people in general. IOW, I don’t feel to be part of ‘we the people’ and I’m not expecting it to improve.
Was Janis Joplin a gifted and talented singer, or a housecat with a hairball and distemper?
Yes
But why not both?
Where do i find a good set of foams, straps, and rivets to customize a night splint I use for my plantar fasciitus? I don't know what any of tge parts are called so I need a site with good pictures. The splint works wonders but needs to be adjusted plus it came with shitty straps. Pretty much all of the splints look similar, which means they all pretty much suck as is. It doesn't help that I have a 22" calf.
Ive lost a bunch of weight and have improved my strength and fitness a lot. Fixing my foot will get me over the hump to a new level.
Can't help ya but serious props on the weight loss.
I can’t help, but wish you well. I was a year sleeping in one of those plantar boots for a year before my problem cleared.

not necessarily for sleeping but I have used those plantar fasciitis ankle sleeves many times and they DEF help get my issues addressed.
Also, rolling the golfball under the foot from heel bone thru the arch as painfully as you can bear will help break up the tightness and then loosen the foot...
Also, wear shoes. Walking around barefoot or in flipflops is terrible for PF. Rolling the arch of the foot back and forth over a frozen water bottle helps too
How funny would it be to congratulate my son's new GFand tell her she is his 500th GF when he brings her home this coming weekend? Will it be irreparable or will he look back years from now and laugh? Its totally on brand for me.
Love it lol
Ooh, pretty bold, I would have been irritated if my dad did that. Depends on your relationship IMO. Maybe save it for your speech at their wedding
In all seriousness, that really depends on *her* sense of humor, which makes it very dangerous territory for you. If she's sufficiently twisted, especially if your son already warned her about your inclination to make such comments, she may find it amusing. If she's got my ex-wife's ability to hold on to a slight, she'll be reminding your son about it when they're looking at nursing homes for you.
But I believe the proper TGR answer is that we'd need pics of her to make that call.
Alternate viewpoint: it’s not funny and is just kind of cringey/dickish.

I would agree that you really don't want to bring up your children's stuff to their significant others. My kids had so much baggage that I never mentioned. With my daughter's husband asked me if he could marry her, the most I said was have you really thought this through and before you punch her call me and I'll come and get her. So if that wasn't warning enough I don't know what to do for the guy.

Did he call?
Regarding the foot, did you look at these guys? They seem to have everything under the sun for orthopedics https://www.henryschein.com/us-en/me...thopedics.aspx
Or maybe find somebody local who welds aluminum and design your own rig.
Have ai 3d print you something.
Market it.
Make jillions
I read a while ago that every UPS store was going to offer 3D printing, did that ever happen?
UPS has pivoted to AI.
The future is quantum package delivery.
Beam it down Scotty.

The world needs more mugshawties.</p>
Other than the fact he voted for Dump, he is a really good guy. Solid provider for his family, really a top 5% dad and he finds the patience to deal with my daughter, who is very hard to deal with post stroke. If his views were not so damn conservative, I would love the guy.
Why Carhartt but not Dickies for people who want to look working class? Actual working class people need not reply.
They want to look kinda working class, not actually be working class, duh.
Am I still working class just because I have a job even though I ski at will, pursue non-job related ventures during paid hours, and really only “work” five hours a week?
Asking for a friend who used to paint houses.

Situation in the yard: squirrel digging and mice. Any advice before nuking from orbit?
I wear Carhartt loose fit heavy weight pocket Tees because I like how they feel. In fact that's pretty much all I wear for shirts. I don't wear them to look working class. And I don't wear Dickies because I don't like how they feel. I also wear Carhart watch caps, but again, it's because I like the hats. Does Dickies make hats?
Carhartt opened a store in Boulder just down from the Apple store, to give you an idea of who they’re marketing to these days.Quote:
