anyone a powerpoint expert? I am repurposing an old presentation but the slides have an organization's logo on them. Any way to just delete logo off the slides? Or do I have to copy/paste each slide individually?

Longtime since I was the PowerPoint master, but….
One of the drop-down menus will be “Slide Master” (I think), click on that to essentially get to the template for all slide background elements. They’ve probably added the logo there. From there, delete the logo and re-save the master.
I think that is the basics…

Iowa Griz is correct. Note that each deck can contain multiple slide templates, and it's possible the logo exists on more than one template. If the logo is still appearing, go through additional templates in slide master (it's just like flipping through a standard deck) and make sure you've removed the logo from all of them.
Thanks but I'm not seeing the logo on any of the masters.
Huh, can you select it as an image on the individual slides? If so, you can just delete it on each slide manually.
Nope, can't seem to select it.
Hmm, okay, right click on an empty spot on the slide, then select "format Background" from the context menu. Try checking the "hide background graphics" box. That would be kind of weird, I would really expect it to be part of a master slide, but what do I know?
Valid question.
I tried the hide background graphics option when I was poking around, before posting here. Doesn't do anything.
Hmm, kind of running out of ideas, but now I'm really curious about how they put the logo there. Did you try picking "layout" from the context menu to see if there's an option for a layout with no logo?
If this doesn't work, you're going to just have to send it to me so I can poke at it
So, closing the loop here, I asked the person who had created the original one, she's not a tech person but it seems like the slide with logo is a custom thing that is the base slide, so couldn't be "taken off". But something she suggested worked, which was "format background" and do a solid fill of white, which covered up the logo while still leaving the text.
How much is too much? Asking for a friend.
All of it
Anybody use one of those sauna tent with 120v steam generator deals? They're cheap online. I want one cuz I love to sweat but don't feel like wasting a hundred bucks
Any have a Peloton bike? Just moved in with the GF and now have access to the bike and app. What should I start on? Any tips?
Anyone got some size 10/43-44 peloton cleats that they don't use anymore?
Peloton? Depends what you want. If you want to sweat and burn calories while looking at hot women, any will do. If you want to use it for training, do an FTP test on the Peloton, and then do any of the workouts that use Power zones. I like Matt Wilpers, but you may prefer others (depending on personality, music choice etc). PZ endurance will build just that (Tadej Pogacar does most of his training in Zone 2). Power Zone will improve your FTP, Power Zone max will improve your VO2 max.As a side note, what determines your uphill pace is your watts per kilogram at FTP - you can improve FTP some, especially if you are new to training it, but its largely genetic (as is VO2max), so if you want to go uphill faster, lose weight! There’s a reason all the TdF winners are super skinny - its easier to lose 10% body weight than increase FTP by 10%.
dang- can’t find the cleats, Danno.
I thought we had an extra set because we ended up just switching out the pedals to our normal bike Time pedals and so I didn’t need them.
Maybe they will still turn up and I’ll holler if so
No worries, BB, appreciate you looking. I found some cheap knockoff brand cleats ("Tiebao"?) on marketplace for 30 bucks. I'm sure they suck but they at least allow me to start pedaling!
recommendations or link to thread for travel ski boot dryers? I had a Therm-ic that just died after about 5 years. Ideally something less expensive. Almost always at low humidity places, so thinking really just need to move air.
Get a travel hair dryer with a cool (ambient temp) setting
something like this https://www.amazon.com/DryGuy-Travel...dp/B010A5JC6W/
You obviously need to start by getting on the bike...https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...ular_smile.gif
Search Amazon for pc fans. Imagine boxes you can build around them with exiting PVC pipes.
Site sucks so no pics, but I built a box where the intake via fans sits 4 inches off the ground with vertical pipes exiting out the top. It also fits in my car for roadies. Has eight pipes , two fans, and a USB plugin.
Easy build that can break down via pulling the pipes. Lightweight balsa makes the box.
Could likely get away with one inch off the ground. One fan. Four pipes. Would probably weigh two pounds and break down to the size of a lunch box.
On non-ski days, it sits in the front entry way of my house drying out kids snow gear nightly with zero sound on low.

Thanks, I had been thinking about something like that with pc fans and PVC.
Got a link? searching STP didn't find anything.
I got the deluxe version of the Dry Guy travel driers at an REI garage sale years ago and like them a lot:
https://www.amazon.com/DryGuy-Travel...xfdGhlbWF0aWM=
The deluxe version actually moves air around inside which I think makes a big difference. Work as a travel dryer and also as car-based boot warmer. Plugs into a cigarettes lighter and includes a wall adapter (that also works at Euro voltages).
Price seems ludicrous for what they are, but they work.
Anyone skiing steamboat this week and want to possibly link up? And is there a regional thread for it?
How does every other browser -- every other program really -- manage to update themselves periodically and (mostly) not require restarts (and when they do, you get to decide when), yet firefox seems to update itself every week and crashes at random times because it needs a restart before you can do anything?

CO weather conditions is the default regional thread.

I'm trying to get up there but probably won't make it this week or weekend.

What’s the poliass password? It’s making me sign in and I can’t remember it
its you2high$$$
The old password for polyass was ‘yes’ or ‘Yes’. The TGR app was restricting me a month ago with no way of inputing a password, then magically it resolved itself. But if you are using a brower, try ‘yes’.
That worked, thanks.
Friends don't tell friends the poliass password.
