Because I think you all guys are men of culture as well. Here something you should know/see/check :

Yes, this is one man's quiver (not mine), all the details are here, ski by ski : http://www.skipass.com/news/150396-d...e-legende.html
i think I just got a boner
I must say that motherfucker has impeccable taste.
I'm looking at you, Ducroz.

Other than the fact they fully sold out by mid-winter and people are buying the few remaining pairs from distributors overseas?
Quiver goals right there, am I right gwat?
Honestly, I haven't skied the tanker since the ('04?) black "Flexon" topsheet, so really all i remember is I liked them. The Tanker has a much more even flex pattern with slightly more camber, where the SS has the classic Stockli flex: soft in the first and last 10% of the ski, then ramping up significantly underfoot. They're much easier to put on edge than people remember; you just have to commit to the turn to keep them there. But they are smooth as waxed nutsacks, and have a very, very nice rebound out of the turn.
Well someone has to follow that insane super quiver and Kai's Dynastar Quiver.
Here it is minus a pair of Heads and pair of orange 203 Shiros that are in Seattle.

191 cm Rossi GS Skis - sharing Look PX 15 bindings with the Cochise
These are for sale, I just don't ski them more then once or twice a year and I'd like more of a (gasp) PSIA carving style ski. I'd love to replace these with the Fischer the Curv's, but we will see.
194 Kastle MX 98 - White P18
Perfect for what they are, might not be the most versatile, but that's alright.
192 Blizzard Cochise - sharing Look PX 15 bindings with the Rossi GS skis - heli-coils to make sure I don't strip any screws
Picked these up off the FS board, I'm really excited to get on these. I think they will be the perfect compliment to the Kastles
202 Fischer Ranger 108 TI - haven't figure out which bindings these will get, either share with the ON3P Wrens or Marker Griffon 13 IDs
I'm really curious about these. They look awesome, feel just as I hoped they would, not too stiff, but not noodles at all. I thought the 188 Fischer Ranger 108s skied short, so I'm hoping these will be great.
191 ON3P Wrenegades - Rossi FKS 14
Bought these off Wren. I believe they are 2012 vintage with 2011 top sheets. They are stamped 002 [emoji33] and made extra stiff for Wren. These things don't bend, at all. I tried to lay into them and they make the Kastles feel like noodles.
193 Blizzard Gunsmokes - Marker Jester demo
The Wrens are supposed to replace these, but they are just so good I can't bring myself to sell them. They really are that good.
193 Volkl Shiro - Rossi FKS 18
Inbounds pow skis for tree days. So slarvy, so easy to ski, so easy to land on, just not quite chargy enough for big open cut up pow fields
203 Volkl Shiros - Marker Jesters 18s
AK pow charging machines. These things blast through everything, it's insane how good these are at blasting through everything. They are a little long in the tip when mounted on the line for trees. I need more time on then to learn them better.
196 Praxis Protest - share Marker Jester demos with the Gunsmokes
The Blister Review is spot on. So much fun, so easy, but not quite what the Shiros are. I sold these once already, bought them back, and I'm just going to keep them for friends who visit to use.

194 Super Praxis Freerides (+10 mm) - Look P18
CAST Plates, side country pow missions. These were built to replace the Shiros, and might replace all them, I will see. Max top sheet, Cherry veneer, enduro with carbon core, 4 stiffness
187 Blizzard Kabookie - Marker Kingpin 13
Long touring missions. The non-metal Bonafide. New to me!
193 Volkl Shiro - Marker Kingpin 13
Pow touring skis, not the lightest, not the heaviest, just right in stiffness on soft snow for TLT6P
Of the Cochise, Wrens, Rangers and Gunsmokes, one or two of these won't last the season. Thoughts?
Where are those orange 203s?

They will be beauties.

Damn, skibrd, that's a purdy bunch a skis ya got thurrrr.
Cochise should be a good compliment to the MX98; not real floaty, but likes to go through stuff at speed in a similar fashion.
I covet those 202s. You've got too much overlap. I'll send someone over to collect them. You don't even have to ship.
Thanks dude! It's taken 5 years to figure out what I like in a ski, and collect the skis I like.
I left my rock skis out of the picture. 187 Bonafides 2012-13 vintage, totally beat to crap, I don't care what I ski them into, what I hit, most of the ptex on the bases has been replaced at this point, multiple cracks in all the edges, a collapsed side wall or two, skied to where they are super soft at this point, perfect rock skis
Very solid quiver right there!
1. I agree, the gunsmokes are that good. Very underestimated ski.
2. I would put a tech binding on those rangers, aren't they pretty light?
3. I have never skied wrens or rangers but I would guess Gunsmoke overlaps with your 3(!) pairs of shiros? And cochise and wren are somewhat similar?
Next week for sure... I will be up front and will admit I have a ski hoarding problem... Holy shit do I and I know recognizing the problem is a path to recovery, but F that you only live once...
